The wax has such a creamy texture that it applies beautifully and smoothly. I really love how easy it is to work with. The fragrance just isn't for me. I'm a woman, but I decided to try this for keeping my bangs in place, and I'm so happy I did! It holds really well and smells absolutely amazing!!! I haven't used this type of wax before, so I might not be using it correctly, but it does tend to clump up a bit, which is frustrating.
