I love how glossy and hydrating this is! The only thing is, the color payoff is lighter than I expected. It doesn't apply with the intensity shown in the photos - it's so sheer that I'm wondering if there's actually any pigment in it at all. I'm disappointed with how weak the color is. What I really love about this coral lip balm is that it's nicely moisturizing, and compared to other coral-toned lip balms I've reviewed, the color payoff is impressive with just a single application. Usually, I need to layer these products multiple times to build up the color gradually, but this one delivers great pigmentation right away. Here's something interesting I noticed with both coral lip balms I've tried: they look orange in photos, but when I apply them to my lips, they transform into a beautiful pink-coral shade. I'm thrilled with both the color and the performance, and I'd definitely say this one excels in terms of color intensity and staying power. I'm not sure if this is just how all tinted lip balms are, or if it's because it's winter, but the dryness is really unavoidable. My lips get so parched and flaky that I find myself reapplying constantly. And when I do layer it, the color becomes so intense that it feels like I need to do a full makeup look to balance it out.
