I don't dye or bleach my hair, but since it's naturally a bit frizzy, I regularly get perms and treatments done. Even with professional care included, my hair always ends up damaged. Since I've been curious about this brand for a while and genuinely love it, I really hoped the product would deliver. The texture is incredibly rich, almost like a butter mask. It's one of the thickest hair treatments I've ever used, so I was pleasantly surprised. My hair reaches well below my chest, so I used about 1.5 times the amount shown, but it still spread beautifully with less product than other brands. When I rinsed it out, my hair felt amazing! As someone who's been getting perms for years and can't leave my hair alone, my hair isn't naturally in the best condition because perms tend to dry it out. But this treatment felt like it locked in deep moisture and hydration, similar to how a good skincare product works. My hair felt completely filled with protein and noticeably stronger. I was so impressed after the first use that I've been using it almost daily since then. The dryness in my hair has visibly decreased. It seems like there are more ingredients that don't work for me than ones that do! Highlights and Overall Thoughts 1) Fragrance Profile - Top notes of Pear and Bergamot, middle notes of Sandalwood and Amber, base notes of Honeysuckle and Lily. In reality, when you open the jar, you get a subtle honey-like sweetness first, and after shampooing, the delicate lily notes linger beautifully rather than just sweetness. Unlike other Narka products, it's not overpowering, but the refined, subtle finish is truly lovely. 2) The texture is incredibly rich and dense. At first impression, it reminded me of those cheap hair masks sold at street cosmetics shops for just a few dollars - super thick formulas that don't spread well and rinse out poorly. But this one? Despite being thick, it's so smooth and creamy that it spreads beautifully and rinses out easily. You can literally use just one tablespoon of butter and cover your entire hair and scalp. 3) The treatment doesn't just look shiny for one day and then turn into a mess. The benefits last 2-3 days. 4) It's not just surface shine - you actually feel the nourishment and the hair cuticles themselves getting filled in. Especially if your ends are severely damaged, with regular use, you'll notice a real difference. 5) I started using it 2-3 times a week on my whole head, then switched to applying just a coin-sized amount daily to my damaged ends while using a different treatment on the rest. That worked amazingly well, and I think this approach would work for others too. 6) If you have severely damaged or bleached hair, this product will make a huge difference. It really transforms your hair. Of course, pairing it with daily care products makes it even better. 7) I don't get any irritation on my ears or the back of my neck, which is huge for me. That's why I love Narka products so much. Conclusion Out of all the products I've tried over the years, aside from a discontinued Kerastase treatment, this is honestly the best. That product was much more expensive, and it actually caused irritation on my neck and ears because of sulfate ingredients. Finding a good product is hard enough, but finding one that doesn't cause breakouts? That's even harder. I'm just grateful to use this without complaints! Drawbacks 1) The jar format has its limitations - you need to use a dedicated disposable spoon to scoop out the product. 2) The price is steep, so it's hard to use generously. That said, it's still cheaper than getting a treatment at a salon, and since the results are excellent, I'm planning to repurchase. 3) Honestly, there aren't many downsides. Rather than using it once or twice a week on your whole head, try applying just a small amount to damaged areas, especially your ends, and use a regular treatment on the rest of your hair daily. Of course, if you have heavily bleached hair, this approach might not be enough on its own. For me, applying it just to my ends every day worked better than using it on my whole head once or twice a week. I bought this because it was labeled vegan, but I didn't check the ingredients carefully. When I looked into the EWG ratings, I was disappointed to find quite a few ingredients I'd rather avoid. Plus, I broke out on my scalp and body, probably because of all the silicone oils like dimethicone in it. While silicone gives an instant smoothing effect, it doesn't actually fix the root cause of damaged hair.
