I stock up on this during sales and use it regularly. If you're looking for an everyday lip balm, I wouldn't really recommend this product. However, it works wonderfully as a lip scrub. I suggest using it solely for exfoliation purposes. Simply apply it to your lips, gently massage it with your fingers to dissolve the sugar, then wipe it away. The dead skin cells disappear, which is fantastic. If I apply this daily, my lips end up looking overly plump and swollen, which has become routine for me. The colored version especially is awkward to use as a traditional lip balm, so I've switched to using it only as a scrub, which feels like a waste. If you use this frequently, you might feel the amount is too small for the price. I have to start by describing my skin type - I've never experienced severe acne in my life, but when something doesn't work for me, I get redness and itching with little bumps appearing. My T-zone tends to be oily, and I have combination skin that doesn't tolerate heavy oils, butters, waxes, or fatty acids that clog pores. My skin only responds well to high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, not low molecular weight, and anything pore-clogging makes me break out! I used to only use Tri-Hut, and honestly, this product is just as amazing. If you find lip exfoliation tedious and want daily care without the hassle, I'd definitely recommend this! If you find Etude products too sticky and struggle with moisturization from other lip balms, you should definitely try this. It's fantastic! There are little granules in it, but they just sit there initially and then dissolve after a few hours, leaving your lips beautifully hydrated! Nothing really to complain about... maybe the amount is a bit small? But the results are definitely there, so it's a win. The formula glides on without that sticky, heavy feeling, so I find myself reaching for it constantly. I expected the scrub to dissolve easily, but it's actually firm and adheres beautifully to the lips. The sugar particles are smaller than I anticipated and feel gentle on the delicate lip area. I was expecting a lemon scent, but it actually smells like sweet honey, which is lovely. This product seems like it'll last a long time! The packaging is so pretty compared to typical lip balms that I actually want to carry it with me everywhere. The formula is really effective, and while it's pricey for a lip balm, there's nothing unnecessary about it. I'm genuinely happy with this purchase. I don't really have any complaints. I'd definitely repurchase this. It applies smoothly without any pilling, and the moisture locks in perfectly on my lips.
