As a barista, my hands are constantly exposed to water and coffee stains, and winters make them incredibly dry and cracked. I've tried so many hand creams over the years, but Nutserine is what I've stuck with for three years now. First of all, it has no fragrance, so it doesn't bother me while I'm working. When I wash my hands with water, it doesn't rinse away like typical hand creams do—it creates this amazing protective barrier on my skin that actually stays put! The size is absolutely perfect too. I keep it in my front pocket and reapply it constantly throughout the day. They also offer larger and smaller sizes if you prefer! The only minor downside is that since you scoop it out with your fingers, it can get stuck under your nails. Most lip balms these days are basically just a bunch of chemicals, so I was really impressed that this product is made with 100% plant-derived ingredients. It seems safe enough for kids to use too, which is great! Plus, there's way more product than I expected, so it lasts forever! First off, there were these grainy particles in it that made applying it to my lips feel uncomfortable. The ads promised 24-hour moisture, but my lips were totally dry when I woke up. I discovered this product by chance and I've been using it ever since, and honestly, the amount you get is amazing!! Plus, I have extremely dry skin, so even when I apply concealer around my eyes, it just sits on top and looks patchy. But when I do my routine in this order before applying concealer - toner, serum, nourishing essence, emulsion, sunscreen, then concealer - it works beautifully!! And when winter comes around, my face gets really dehydrated, so before bed I apply the nourishing essence to my lips, nose, and around my eyes, and I wake up feeling so hydrated and plump!! Honestly, the one thing I never skip before bed these days is applying this nourishing essence to my lips! Trust me and try it on your lips - it's seriously amazing. Since I started using this, I barely wear tint anymore because the nourishing essence gives my lips such a natural shine that I don't need anything else on top. And if you have dry heels, just apply the nourishing essence before bed, put on socks, and you'll wake up with soft, moisturized heels! On days when I use it on my heels, they stay hydrated all day long. Seriously, you have to get this nourishing essence! You'll regret it if you don't. I've dropped it off my desk a few times and it does break pretty easily, which is a bummer. I ordered this from home shopping and one tube lasts me such a long time! It has that wonderful Vaseline-like texture that spreads so smoothly. I love using it during winter - after my basic skincare routine, I apply an extra layer to any dry patches. My skin looks so dewy and radiant afterward. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone dealing with dry skin! I didn't really notice any wrinkle-reducing benefits, to be honest. That said, it's great for hydration and moisture! I don't think it would work well for oily skin types though.

There are little granules inside that don't dissolve easily, so you really have to rub it between your palms quite a bit before they finally break down. Once all the granules melt away, it becomes slightly oily, and when you use it as a final step after your basic skincare routine, the hydration definitely lasts a long time. It feels more tacky and clingy than a pure oil though. I was really excited because it seemed like a signature product, but I was shocked at how rough and gritty it felt. It's basically like using a body scrub on your face. When I looked up reviews online, I didn't see anyone mentioning that the granules don't dissolve or that it's irritating at all. My skin isn't sensitive or reactive—it's actually pretty thick and resilient—but I literally can't apply this to my face. I can only use it on my feet. It's too scratchy even for my lips. To get the granules to dissolve, you have to scoop some onto your palm and really scrub it between both hands. I almost returned it but was too lazy to deal with it. Anyway, once you finally manage to break down all those granules, the hydration boost is definitely real, but wow, what a hassle. I was so confused—it felt so rough and gritty that I wondered if I'd received a defective product. Then I looked up reviews online and everyone raved about it, which made me feel like the world was playing a prank on me. I took a photo next to a lipstick so you can compare the size. The texture and application feel identical to Vaseline, and the scent is also basic and unscented like Vaseline. If you're hesitant about using Vaseline derived from petroleum, you might want to try Nutserine made from plant-based oils instead. Since I found the effects and moisturizing benefits to be the same as Vaseline, I'd say choose whichever one aligns better with your values. If I had to pick a downside, it would be the price. But honestly, you can get it more affordably when you buy it during promotions on the official website where they offer mini sizes or coupons. When temperatures rise, it naturally melts since it's an oil-based product. So starting from late spring, it's best to carry the mini size with you and use it up quickly.
