Now, you might worry that it looks too heavy or dark, but here's the thing - there's actually a subtle red undertone that keeps it from looking harsh on your complexion. The real appeal here is how rare and beautiful this shade is. I'm used to tints and pot-type formulas, so switching to this lipstick was honestly shocking. The application is really difficult - it doesn't glide on smoothly, and when I try to apply it with more color payoff, it gets patchy and settles into my lip lines. When I apply it lightly, the color doesn't show up properly, and it's frustrating to try to do an ombre lip look with it. To be honest, if there was a tint or another formula available in this shade, I probably wouldn't buy this version.
