I'd definitely recommend the Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Lip Balm if you have a cool undertone, especially during summer. The color isn't too intense, making it perfect as a base lip product. It has this beautiful, clear pink shade with a soft, sheer finish that I absolutely love using. If you're someone who enjoys that moisturizing, melting lip balm feel, you're going to adore this one! There's not much to complain about, but I'd suggest this more to people who prefer a sheer, transparent lip product rather than those who love bold, deep colors. I picked this up for a light, everyday look while juggling school! If you want to add a hint of color to your lips without the intensity of a full tint, this is absolutely perfect for you. I'm genuinely obsessed with it. That said, if you're hoping this will also keep your lips moisturized, I'd suggest thinking it over once more. I absolutely love this product! If your skin tone falls somewhere between warm and cool undertones, I'm definitely recommending this shade. I'm honestly someone who can never quite figure out if I'm warm or cool, but this color is undeniably gorgeous. Since it has a lipstick formula, I find it so easy to apply. With tints, I usually dab them on my lips with my finger, but this lipstick formula is just so convenient to use. I'm really thrilled with it. I actually got this through a tint swap with a close friend, and I couldn't be happier. The moisture level isn't overwhelming, and the hydration lasts quite a while, which is perfect for me since makeup isn't allowed at school. This is basically a lifesaver for me. The color stays put beautifully, and I'm completely satisfied! I haven't found any downsides so far, and I don't think I will. I'm going to keep loving Peripera. Among color lip balms like this shade 1 (similar to that famous Dior lip balm), this one actually delivers better color payoff. That said, it does lean cool-toned, so if you're a warm-toned person through and through, it might not be your best match. I usually do well with cool tones, but when this leans too heavily cool, it can look a bit off depending on the day and what I'm wearing. This is one of those products that either works or it doesn't—there's no in-between. Though I will say, if I apply a brightening primer underneath, it helps tone down that effect a bit. - The design feels really dated. I'd recommend thinking of this more as a tinted lip balm rather than a traditional lipstick. It's beautifully moisturizing, which makes it perfect for layering with other lip products. Hmm... I'm wondering why I bought this. Shouldn't a night product have better moisturizing power? The shade is kind of lukewarm, nothing special. It doesn't deliver on any front - the color payoff fades quickly, it won't stay put, and the hydration is basically nonexistent.
