This is literally my ride-or-die lip product. I was searching for a lip color that would work beautifully on bare skin, and somehow this showed up at exactly the right moment. I'd just gotten back from traveling, and my lips were looking pretty pale, so I was hunting for something with a bit of color—kind of like a tinted lip balm vibe. And this is absolutely perfect. I was so worried they'd discontinue it that I actually bought an extra shade when a new one came out. Honestly, I wish I'd stocked up with even more. I'm kicking myself over that now. Seriously, there's nothing else like it. I've never repurchased the same product more than once before—except for lip balms—but I've already gone through several of these, and the one I'm using right now is my last one. The only other products I've found that come close to this feeling are Hera's Sensual Tinted Shine Stick and Weme's Healthy Glow Balm Stick. I bought this for a colored lip balm, and I'm really happy with it! The price is great and the shade is so pretty. The formula is a bit firm, which means it lasts a long time. For a lip balm, the moisturizing power is disappointing and there's barely any color payoff, so it feels kind of pointless. I absolutely love how hydrating this is! The shade is a bit sheer, but when I use it as a base, it gives such a dewy, moisturized finish. The color comes out lighter than it looks in the product photos. This lip color just doesn't work for my warm undertones. I thought it would be a dried rose shade, but honestly, it's basically the same as my natural lip color—kind of a muted reddish-brown tone. The color payoff is pretty sheer, even after applying it multiple times. Since my lips are naturally pigmented, it doesn't show up as much as I'd hoped. It's not a glossy finish either. If you have lighter lips naturally, you'd probably get a more subtle, natural look. But for me, even with the sheer coverage, I need a bit more color intensity to make my lips look vibrant. So this product just isn't the right match for what I'm looking for.
