My lips felt dry, but this has a nice moisturizing feel. The color is a beautiful, transparent mauve shade that I absolutely love. I'm giving it 4 stars! The color payoff was disappointing - my lips need to be completely matte and free of any moisture for the shade to show up properly. The staying power also left me wanting more. Even if your lips aren't in perfect condition, this doesn't emphasize any texture or flaking, so you can apply it without worry. The shade looks like a cool-toned mauve with blue undertones in the tube, but once applied, it transforms into a natural grape-like stain. It's cool and pale without feeling heavy, giving you that fresh, no-makeup makeup vibe. After a little while, that blue tone fades and shifts toward a softer pink, creating an even more natural and sophisticated color that feels perfectly balanced. What I love: Applies smoothly with an easy, lightweight formula. The blue-toned mauve gradually transforms into a natural pink stain as time passes. Barely any texture emphasis. Perfect for cool undertones, and once the blue fades, it works beautifully for warm undertones too! The formula isn't super hydrating, so on drier days, I'd recommend using it with a lip balm. The initial blue undertones might look a bit off if you don't have cool undertones, but it evens out after a while. The staying power is pretty average. I was really impressed when I swatched it on my wrist - the color looked so pretty! But once I applied it to my lips, it came across as darker than expected. It's got this subtle, muted red-brown tone that reminds me of sweet red bean paste. The formula doesn't transfer easily, which I actually love. It's such a calm, understated lip color that works beautifully even on bare skin without any base. Even though it's labeled as a lip balm, it doesn't feel moisturizing at all. Honestly, it's just a sheer lipstick, and after a while my lips start to feel dry and uncomfortable.

Even though I have deep undertones, I use this product daily and it works great for me! It's both a pro and a con, but since the color payoff isn't super intense, I reach for it whenever I want a natural, no-makeup makeup look! I loved how hydrating and moisturizing this feels on the lips! The finish isn't overly shiny, which I really appreciated. If this muted, earthy tone works with your skin tone, you're going to look absolutely gorgeous wearing it! Unfortunately, this shade just doesn't complement my undertone. It's way too bright for me, so I've been pairing it with some of my other lipsticks to tone it down. If you're a cool-toned person with deeper skin, this is perfect for daily wear and keeps your skin feeling hydrated. I sometimes use it as a full-face product, and I love pairing it with Laka's Envy color for the ultimate cool-toned combo! I honestly can't think of any downsides! I'd be absolutely thrilled if they keep this cool-toned deep shade in production. It would break my heart to see it discontinued. For those of you who like to use this with foundation to deepen your lip color! Because of the formula's nature, just tap a tiny amount along the edges of your lips. Since it doesn't give super intense color payoff on its own, when it blends with foundation, it turns into a soft lavender shade that honestly makes you look a bit tired and washed out...

I was looking for a moisturizing lip balm with some color, and this is exactly the shade I wanted. It applies much lighter on the lips than it looks on paper or swatches, but since I was going for a natural, no-makeup look anyway, I'm really happy with it. I love that it doesn't feel sticky or heavy on my lips. The color appears much lighter on the lips compared to how it looks on paper or arm swatches. It's basically a clear lip balm with minimal pigment, so it mainly just smooths out dry patches and evens out your lip tone. If you're expecting bold, intense color payoff, you might be disappointed.
