When applied, it has this lovely fluffy, powdery finish that glides on smoothly. The applicator tip is a bit on the smaller side though. Even after I smooth down all the flaking, just rubbing with the applicator brings back dry patches out of nowhere! Because of this, I apply a super thin layer of lip balm underneath, but I still get flaking popping up sometimes. Plus, while product colors can vary slightly from the product photos, this one is seriously misleading. The shade page shows a really soft peachy-orange, but what I received is nothing like that delicate warm tone on my lips. Instead, it's just pure red with no subtlety at all. I can't wear this alone by itself. This velvet coral shade is absolutely perfect as a base! When I layer it with the Ink Mood Glossy Tint in shade 2, which has such a warm undertone, the combination is just flawless. I'm completely obsessed with how beautiful it looks! Since this is a matte lip formula, it does tend to emphasize dry patches and texture. Make sure to exfoliate and prep your lips well before applying for the best results!

This matte product applies so smoothly and blends beautifully - the formula is absolutely perfect for creating gradients! As someone with deep undertones and a lighter complexion, I did notice the shade reads a touch warm on me, so I'd especially recommend this to anyone with deep undertones, muted tones, or warm undertones. The wear time lasts about 2 to 3 hours, and honestly, the scent is absolutely amazing! The color is absolutely gorgeous! I use it as my base all the time, and I love carrying it around because the tint design is so pretty. The formula is quite creamy, which makes it seem like it wipes away easily. Unfortunately, it just didn't work well with my skin.
