I love how vibrant and gorgeous this red shade is! It really brightens up my whole face, and I'm impressed with how smooth and flawless it makes my lips look without any creasing. The packaging is absolutely adorable, and it applies so smoothly and moisturizes beautifully. If you don't exfoliate properly beforehand, it really emphasizes texture and the color transfer is unpredictable - it barely shows up sometimes but then transfers like crazy when it does. The matte finish is fantastic, the color payoff is excellent, and this beautiful red shade is so pretty that I find myself reaching for it constantly because of its compact size. Vibrant, true-to-color payoff that really pops. This shade seems like it would be absolutely perfect for deeper skin undertones. Leaves a beautifully moisturized, dewy finish. Orange-toned finish that doesn't work for everyone. After a while, the color shifts to an orange shade that shows up along your lip line in a way that feels off. If orange tones don't flatter you, I'd skip this one. Don't test this in dim lighting. When I first applied it in low light, I thought it was a muted pink, but once I turned on the lights, it completely transformed into an orange-red. The Airy Velvet line really does feel amazing to apply! It glides on smoothly and adheres beautifully to the lips. This is way too drying for me. Before the reformulation, this was definitely a true red shade that I used all the time and loved After the reformulation, there's an orange undertone mixed in, and since orange doesn't work with my complexion at all, I was really disappointed.
