It's more nude than I expected, which I actually love! If you're into that natural, bare-faced look, this is perfect for you. I think it would suit warm undertones even better though. The matte finish really emphasizes dry patches and flaking, so I find myself reaching for it less often. I absolutely love the color! It's perfectly balanced - not too intense, not too muted, just right. I don't have any complaints yet. I have deep undertones and this is absolutely perfect as a base lip color! I also love using it as a blush on my cheeks - the shade is just so beautiful If you tend to get flaky lips, since this is a matte formula, I'd recommend doing a gentle exfoliation the night before to prep your lips. I'm really impressed with how long-lasting the Ink the Velvet products are. Once you apply it, it stays put way longer than expected, so you don't need to keep reapplying throughout the day. I'm definitely a fan. The bottle might look small, but it actually holds quite a bit of product. The shade I picked turned out darker than I anticipated, so if you're not careful with application, it can look a bit flat and dull. I'm already on my fourth tube of this! When I first got it, I thought the shade might be too dark, but once I apply it to my lips, it brightens up beautifully and looks gorgeous. It's a bit too matte for my liking, so the application isn't as smooth as I'd prefer. I just trust this brand and keep buying it.... I love it, the nude latte shade is so pretty! It works beautifully with warm undertones and deep undertones too. There's a slight bit of texture showing through and it can feel a touch oily, but I knew that's how the Ink the Velvet formula is, so I'm totally fine with it! I absolutely loved how natural and seamless the gradient effect looked when I applied this as a base and layered another shade on top. The color payoff was so smooth and blended beautifully. The main drawback I found is that it's tricky to control the amount of product when you first start using it, which can be frustrating. Here's a helpful tip: if too much product comes out when you first use it, try dabbing it onto your lips with a light tapping motion instead of swiping. This gives you much better control over how much you're applying.
