I grabbed this without hesitation because I've always loved this shade! I'm a big fan of using a matte tint as my base, and this one works beautifully as an accent color too! Honestly, there's nothing I'd change about it. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and this was actually my very first tint when I started wearing makeup about three years ago. I lost it but found it again, and I'm still using it! The scent is amazing too, and the color is truly fantastic. It matches my lip tone so perfectly that I wear it almost every single day. When I layer a lip gloss on top, it looks absolutely stunning. It does feel a bit dry, which is slightly disappointing, but honestly it's not really inconvenient. In fact, I actually see it as a plus because the texture works great for layering a lip gloss on top. Any downsides? I really can't think of any. I have a light undertone, and a few years ago when I didn't know anything about undertones, I just grabbed this to wear on its own. Now I use it as a base lip tint when I don't have anything else to apply, and honestly, for the price, it works pretty well! Such a gorgeous shade that works beautifully on its own or as a base! I have cool undertones and I've been loving this for ages. The formula glides on so smoothly and the color payoff is amazing. Seriously, just a tiny bit covers my entire lips evenly! The berry scent is exactly what I was hoping for. The matte finish tends to emphasize dry patches, which is disappointing. Plus, the applicator always seems to pick up way too much product. And since the opening is pretty wide, even when I try to control the amount at the opening, it still leaks a bit. The packaging is cute but honestly kind of inconvenient. The wear time isn't as long as I'd like either. If you have fair or very light skin, this might actually be darker than a true nude lip! I have around a medium-light complexion and it looks super natural and sheer on me.

It's not really a love-it-or-hate-it thing, just not particularly luxe feeling. It's not outdated though. Only Peripera can pull off this aesthetic. This calm, muted nude pink shade seems perfect for cool-toned skin, especially in summer! Plus, the staying power is really solid. The application can be tricky to control. After trying it, I'd say that's honestly the biggest drawback. Because of this, whenever I eat or drink after applying the tint, it tends to flake off and transfer quite a bit. The color payoff is fantastic and it works beautifully with my skin tone. It has this perfect balance that's neither too cool nor too warm, so if you like experimenting with different shades, this is definitely a versatile pick for you. Since it has a matte finish, you'll want to exfoliate and prep your skin beforehand. It does transfer more easily than I expected.

It's perfect as a base shade, and you'll notice it has a subtle whitish undertone when applied to the lips, so keep that in mind! Similar shades include Lily by Red Mood Layer Velvet Tint in Nude Layer 11 and Pia Last Velvet Tint in the Classic Series V21. When you compare them, Peripera has a bit more pink in it! The texture is thick and creamy like yogurt, yet surprisingly hydrating The amount control can be a bit tricky The color payoff and staining power are excellent It has a cheap perfume-like scent The moisture lasts long, so you won't experience flaking Being a velvet formula, there is some transfer This is a velvet tint with a thick, yogurt-like texture that stays hydrating without causing excessive flaking. While many shades have been discontinued, the collection still features department store-worthy colors that make your wallet open right up! The Nudy Brew collection especially has that effect! The downside is the fragrance. It's not great! It smells like cheap perfume, similar to Pia Last Velvet Tint. If they could just improve this one thing, it would be perfect! The shade is so neutral that I wear it when I want an autumn vibe! My go-to combo is using 27 as the base and 28 as an accent. This would look amazing on cool-toned skin. If the color feels too intense, you can always apply it more sheer!
