When applied, it goes on beautifully with a smooth, polished finish. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone who loves pale and light shades. It tends to get messy around the nail tips and edges. The scent is absolutely lovely and the color is genuinely gorgeous! It's such a perfect match for light undertones!!!!! That puppy is so incredibly cute! I noticed the tint tends to transfer a bit between the edges when applied, but unfortunately it's been discontinued now. I loved the packaging so much that I ended up buying all three shades, and I'm really happy with the formula and how it feels on my skin! The color is absolutely stunning for anyone with light undertones... but for me, it's just too bright pink and makes my complexion look muddy, so I don't reach for it as often as I'd like. When I first applied it, the shade was a delicate, sheer pink with a milky finish, but as time goes on, it gets darker, muddier, and the pink tone becomes way too intense and overwhelming. It's a glossy tint, but not the super shiny, high-shine type that's trending right now. It's just your standard moisturizing tint. There's a bit of color payoff, so I found the staying power to be pretty solid, but that dewy feeling does fade quickly. The shade leans more toward pink in that coral-pink range, which made it absolutely perfect for me to use as a bare-lip base or lip primer since I have cooler undertones. Deep undertone - I have cool skin, and shades that are too pink or too coral just don't work for me. But this color? It's absolutely perfect for my complexion. I'm disappointed it's been discontinued. I picked up this Maltese grip tok in my favorite shade from the limited color selection, and I'm really happy with it! I was worried the neon pink would make my lips stand out too much, but when I actually applied it, it blended beautifully with my natural lip tone. It's more of a coral pink rather than that milky strawberry shade, which I loved even more. When I layer it a few times, the color deepens into a lavender-ish tone, which looks gorgeous too. I can definitely see this working wonderfully for anyone with cool undertones. The formula is so moisturizing and rich that I don't even need to use a lip balm underneath. It has a beautiful glossy shine without that uncomfortable sticky feeling—it feels more like right after applying an emulsion! The color and moisture stay put throughout the day and don't fade easily, so one application in winter means I can basically forget about my lips for the rest of the day. That's such a time-saver! The Maltese design is absolutely adorable, though I have to admit the illustration has completely worn off from using it so much. The package comes with a grip tok, so there was no way I wasn't buying it! The tip opening doesn't get dirty easily either, which is a smart design feature that keeps everything looking clean. The scent reminds me of those fragrant markers—not overpowering at all, but sweet and soft with floral and vanilla notes that feel really gentle. My biggest disappointment is how easily the Maltese design wore off. When I apply it over flaky patches, it doesn't emphasize the texture, which is nice, but the color doesn't go on evenly. Even right after applying a lip balm, it doesn't adhere smoothly to my lips—it kind of sits on top and feels like it's floating. Skip the lip balm first! Instead, apply the tint, then layer a tinted lip balm (one that pulls pink or red) on top for a natural gradient effect, overlip look, or fuller-looking lips. Seriously, while the tint is still wet, gently feather a lip balm slightly beyond your lip line, and the shine is absolutely incredible!

When you apply it once to your lips, it looks subtle and understated, but after a couple of layers, the color really pops and becomes bold. It's such a perfect match for anyone with cool undertones during summer, especially if you have a lighter complexion. I'm absolutely loving it! I didn't really find any major drawbacks with this product. My only concern is that I've read some reviews mentioning the print on the tint container can chip or peel off, which does worry me a bit.

I was initially surprised by how bright the pink is, but once I swatch it on, it's actually really pretty. I think it would look especially gorgeous on people with fair skin tones! The color is absolutely gorgeous and I'm obsessed with the adorable Maltese design! I really recommend this product! The Maltese decoration on the tint kept attracting dust and it was frustrating.
