The formula itself looks similar to other cleansing foams before you work up a lather, but once you start foaming it, the bubbles become noticeably rich and dense. The cleansing power seems strong enough to remove light makeup without any trouble! (I'm not sure about eye makeup since I always cleanse that separately.) The scent isn't bothersome at all. Most importantly, my face usually feels tight and uncomfortable after cleansing, but this cleansing foam doesn't do that at all, which is amazing! I used to experience significant tightness from the bathroom back to my room, but on days I use this cleansing foam, that tightness is barely noticeable. It really feels like such a hydrating and gentle cleanse! This is definitely a product I'd be happy to repurchase if I get the chance. I have nothing negative to say! That said, it feels more like texture refinement than deep exfoliation, so if you want serious exfoliation, BHA might be the better choice. Texture: The formula has a slightly grainy consistency! Even a tiny amount creates a rich lather, which is amazing. I can get plenty of bubbles just by adjusting the water without a cleansing net, so for sensitive skin like mine, it works really well. Cleansing Power: I tested it by applying eyebrow, lipstick, two shades of eyeliner, and concealer (though it's hard to see) in order from bottom to top in the photo. I deliberately let it set for an hour before cleansing, and even on the first wash, almost everything came off completely. Honestly, for eyeliner you're supposed to use a makeup remover first and then cleanse with foam, but since the foam doesn't feel clean enough, lots of people end up washing three times! But with this product, even just one wash is incredibly effective, and if you've only applied sunscreen, one cleanse is totally sufficient. Other notes: The scent is fragrance-free! Since there's no fragrance, even people sensitive to scents can use it.
