The hair can get a bit sticky if I'm not careful with the amount, but honestly, it's better than those heavy silicone-laden hair oils out there. Most Flame products need to be used within 6 months, but this one stays good for up to a year, which is such a bonus! Most Korean people have oily skin above the chest and dry skin below, just like the dermatologist explained, and that's exactly my situation. When I applied it to my back, I got breakouts. So now I use it from my belly down to my legs, and if my arms feel dry, I apply it there too. It does feel moisturizing, but if you have really dry skin, you might still feel parched. My legs get especially dry in winter—even after showering they turn white and flaky. I applied this, but when I woke up the next morning, there were still dry patches where it didn't fully absorb. When I use it as a hair oil, applying too much makes my hair greasy. I wore my hair down one day and ended up with breakouts on my neck. I naturally get breakouts when my oily hair touches my neck, so I've learned to apply just a tiny amount and keep my hair tied up most of the time. When I do wear it down, I cover my neck with a collared shirt or scarf. Since this is a body oil, I think people with dry skin will find lots of ways to use it. When I use it on my hair, I just pump it once or twice onto the ends. I apply it to damp hair right after towel drying, and if I control the amount well, my ends don't get damaged and my hair doesn't get overly greasy. Because I was worried about breakouts on my neck and damaged hair ends, I started applying a generous amount to my hair before shampooing and letting it sit for an hour. After washing, I either use just a tiny bit of oil separately or skip it altogether. I'm still experimenting to find what works best.
