If you're looking for a really gentle exfoliant, this is absolutely perfect for you! I have combination and sensitive skin, and it removes dead skin cells without any irritation at all. After using it, my skin feels so smooth and refreshed! I didn't really notice any downsides. I received another product as a gift and I'm using that one right now, but once I finish it, I'm definitely planning to repurchase this one.

I have lots of blackheads and whiteheads on my nose, so I bought this to gradually clear them away. While exfoliating my nose, I noticed a few whiteheads on my T-zone too, so I ended up buffing that area as well. I thought I was being gentle, but it turns out my cheeks are really sensitive. My face turned red for two days straight and I dealt with irritation and heat sensation. I especially learned to be careful with my cheeks. When I went to the dermatologist, the esthetician was shocked at how red my face was. After getting treatment and recovery care at the clinic, it took two days to finally calm everything down. Since you need to use it within six months, make sure to gently exfoliate less sensitive areas like your nose regularly without overdoing it. Since I have oily skin, I exfoliate frequently. I love that I can use it every other day without any irritation or breakouts. While it's nice that it doesn't irritate my skin, it feels a bit gentle for my oily complexion—I wish it were slightly more effective. I mix it with a green tea and herb mask for better results. I find that the gentle exfoliating particles really help remove excess oil and impurities more effectively.
