I've tried other lavender oil body cleansers before, and when I kept them in the bathroom, they'd gradually go bad and start smelling off. This one doesn't have that problem at all. ----Follow-up Review----- I complained about the cleansing power being weak, but here's the thing: my scalp had become sensitive from using stronger cleansing products for too long. When I switched to this and did a double wash, my scalp improved so much! Oily scalp issues are like facial skin—if you keep using harsh cleansers, your scalp gets more irritated, itchy, and you lose more hair. But with this product, I haven't had those problems. The occasional itchiness from my oily scalp flares up so rarely now, and one application of the prescribed steroid solution clears it right up. I'm sticking with this product for the long haul! You need to use it within 6 months! Since it's 6 months from the manufacturing date, if you bought it a month after it was made, you'd only have 5 months left. That said, they do sell only fresh products made within the last month, which is actually a plus. So if you're thinking about buying a bunch and rotating through multiple products, you might want to reconsider. Even with this limitation, I love it because the ingredients are so good. I stick with this one exclusively! This is a gentle formula that doesn't create a lot of lather. Make sure to wash twice and rinse thoroughly with a basin of water. For the ends of your hair, I apply argan oil after towel-drying and before blow-drying, which has really helped reduce irritation on my neck. It's okay if it touches your neck, but it's better to avoid contact if you can. I've tried practically every product from this brand, and I'm obsessed! Once I learned how many harsh chemical surfactants are hiding in regular shampoos, I switched to this immediately. Since it uses natural surfactants, your hair might feel a bit dry after washing, but honestly, that's totally worth it. What really won me over is that it works as a body cleanser too, so it's incredibly convenient to use for everything. The texture doesn't feel like a typical shampoo—it's more of a thin consistency. You need to squeeze it carefully so it doesn't pour out everywhere. If you rinse your hair with a citric acid solution after shampooing, your hair becomes incredibly soft and silky, just like you've used a conditioner.
