It's affordable, that's really the main selling point. Brand name recognition? I'd say the portability is the real draw here. I have a lot to say about this. I thought Pond's, being a pioneer in the cleansing category, would at least deliver solid performance, but I'm honestly disappointed. Whether it's because newer brands have caught up technologically or Pond's has fallen behind, I can't tell. Either way, it's just not impressive. On weekdays, my makeup routine goes like this: primer base, sunscreen, YSL cushion, Lil' by Red liner, then blush, highlighter, and under-eye product. It's basically a full face. My makeup is heavy and long-lasting. I only skip mascara sometimes. Since lip and eye products are essential for me, I've tried tons of different options. This one? It's disappointing, and here's why: 1. The pad is rough. It irritates my skin. For context, my skin is pretty resilient—I used to scrub it with a washcloth as a kid. The pad is thick, sure, but not in a good way. It's not saturated with cleanser; it's just stiff and rigid. 2. It doesn't remove makeup at all. I'm serious. After washing off mascara, I look like a panda. I've had to use cotton swabs at the mirror more times than I can count. 3. The amount of product. The pad is thick, but the actual cleanser seems skimpy. I suspect that when they partnered with Daiso, they cut costs here. Other pads can remove both eye and lip makeup and still take off face makeup, but this one? Once I remove my eye and lip makeup, it's done. 4. Price—it's 2,000 won at Daiso. Is that cheap? You can get Purity for the same price if you buy two, or Ariel if you buy five. Only use this if you're traveling or wearing minimal makeup. Otherwise, save your money and get something else.

Plus, my eyes didn't feel irritated at all. I was worried about irritation since it has lemon in it, but there was no stinging or discomfort. I picked this up at Daiso for travel, and honestly, it works so much better than I expected! It removes makeup really effectively without irritating my eyes at all. It even took off my mascara without any hassle. Definitely a solid travel essential! It doesn't sting when I remove my eye makeup, and my lips don't feel irritated either. The formula is really gentle. The cleansing could be better. I scrubbed my lips pretty hard, but the color just wouldn't come off. And when removing mascara, I practically had to rub so hard that I was worried about pulling out my lashes.

Cleansing Power: The point-line remover is already famous for a reason! It removes eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick beautifully. Just place a small amount on the area you want to clean and gently rub it away - it works like a charm. Gentle on Skin: Even if a bit gets in your eyes, there's no stinging or major irritation, so I highly recommend it! Portability: I especially love how lightweight and convenient these are when traveling. I just toss them in my bag and I'm good to go! I honestly couldn't find much to complain about, but if I had to pick something, I'd say the pad size could be a tiny bit larger. These are so convenient to pack when you're traveling! You don't need to bring a separate remover and pads, which really saves space in your luggage. On days when you're wearing heavier makeup, just leave the pad on your eyes a little longer before wiping away - it removes everything so effectively! I love that it's easy to find at affordable stores! Most importantly, it does a great job removing makeup from my eyes and lips, which makes it perfect for travel. It's super convenient as a portable option, and honestly, even if a little gets in my eyes, it's totally fine! I wish there was more product in each container. The cleansing power is solid and the scent is lovely. If you use this first and then follow up with a proper cleanser, you'll feel so much fresher and cleaner.
