My boyfriend recommended this product and I've been using it as a toner. It feels incredibly hydrating and moisturizing, and I've noticed that breakouts seem to decrease when I use it regularly. My boyfriend has also seen a significant reduction in the acne that used to appear on his skin, so I'd definitely recommend giving this a try if you're looking for something effective. The texture is nicely hydrating without being heavy, and I love how the subtle fragrance doesn't overpower. It absorbs beautifully into the skin too. I can't really think of any major drawbacks. If I had to nitpick, the only thing is that it feels a bit too watery for my preference.

I bought this on a friend's recommendation, but honestly, it felt way too drying for my face. Plus, I noticed it was giving me some minor breakouts, which was disappointing. So I put it away for a while. Then I heard that sometimes products that don't work on your face can be amazing on your body, and I thought, why not give it another shot? I started using it on my legs instead, and wow, I was totally wrong about this product! My legs became so incredibly smooth and silky. Even the container design that annoyed me when applying to my face became a total game-changer for my legs, since I could just spray and go. It's definitely an unconventional way to use it, but this product went from being a miss to a total win for me, so I had to share my experience. It does stain clothes a bit. The stains fade somewhat when you wash them, but they leave marks behind. Trust me, you don't want to find out the hard way like I did. So please, learn from my mistake and be extra careful when using this product. If you feel like this product isn't working for you and you're ready to give up on it, try using it on your body instead. This is my review after using it for about a year. I was absolutely devoted to Primera Miracle Seed Essence for around 10 years, and I was heartbroken when it was discontinued. Then I found this as a replacement, and I'm really happy with how well it's working for me now. The watery essence doesn't quite match the hydration level of the Miracle Seed Essence, but I'm still really satisfied with the formula and results! The formula feels completely oil-free, so I use it comfortably all year round without any issues. Since it contains PHA, it's gentle enough to use morning and night for texture care, and while it feels fresh, the hydration is actually quite good. Plus, it absorbs beautifully, so I find myself reaching for it constantly. The scent is naturally fragrant without feeling artificial at all. It's not overpowering, and honestly, the aroma makes me feel great every time I do my skincare routine. I know the packaging has been redesigned before, but it looks a bit cheaper than what you'd expect from Primera, which is disappointing. The opening is tricky for a watery essence without viscosity—it tends to drip right out of the spout, making it messy and hard to use neatly. I really wish they'd improve the packaging. Also, I remember they used to sell a mist spray version, but I haven't seen it recently. I used this before the bottle was reformulated, and it worked beautifully with my skin. I went through more than two bottles because it was so effective at calming redness. I also loved using it as a sheet mask by saturating a cotton pad with it. However, I recently repurchased it and unfortunately broke out in small bumps all over my face, so I could barely use it and ended up giving it to a friend instead. Since this is a water-based toner, applying it alone leaves my skin incredibly parched. I'd only recommend using this as an exfoliating toner. Plus, it doesn't really help with calming breakouts like I hoped it would.
