Despite being called an exfoliating foam, it feels surprisingly gentle and smooth on the skin. After using it, my face feels hydrated and soft. It's become a family favorite in our household. I'm not really a mascara person so I can't speak to that, but honestly this cleanser removes basically all makeup beautifully and the gentle exfoliating action feels amazing. Seriously so satisfying! Plus after cleansing, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth with zero tightness or irritation. The price is... well, for what you're paying, I feel like I could get more product if I just bought a regular cleansing foam instead. It doesn't create a ton of lather, but since it's a gentle exfoliating formula, I can feel it gradually sloughing away dead skin cells. It's really effective for exfoliation! After cleansing, there's no tightness at all and it's so gentle that my skin feels less irritated. I really love that! It doesn't lather well and the cleansing power feels weak.

It has a grainy texture. I've heard it's supposed to help with exfoliation, but honestly, I'm not totally sure if it's making a difference, haha. It's pricey. You're supposed to apply it to a wet face for exfoliation, then add more water to create a lather. I tried this on a friend's recommendation and I'm really impressed! My skin doesn't feel tight at all, and it delivers that hydration boost I was looking for. My complexion was rough and uneven before, but after cleansing, my skin texture became so smooth and refined. I'm very satisfied with the results. Even after rinsing it off, there's still a slippery residue left on my skin, which is disappointing.

I've been using Primera for a long time because it lets me care for my skin gently, and I especially love the peeling gel. I used it a lot when I was dealing with serious breakouts! I always pack a small sample of this product when I travel because it cleanses and exfoliates in one step. The lather is amazing and the exfoliation works so well that my makeup applies beautifully the next day! That said, the particles are pretty large, so if you have sensitive skin, it might feel too harsh and uncomfortable.
