It feels so much more moisturizing and comfortable compared to using a regular stick lipstick. If you have leftover lip balm like I did, definitely try repurposing it this way! Now that it's getting warmer, my stick lip balm is clumping up and crumbling when I apply it. I really loved that the formula is high-quality and delivers such effective hydration. My immune system has been a bit weak lately, so I developed some chapped lips, but I was so pleased that I could apply this without any irritation or problems. The fragrance smells like vanilla, but it comes across as quite strong for my taste. I think I would have been more satisfied if the scent were a bit more subtle. Also, I accidentally dropped it once and the back cap separated from the product. It wouldn't stay on even when I tried to reattach it, so I used some adhesive to secure it and now it works perfectly. If your back cap ever comes loose, don't worry—just use a bit of adhesive to glue it back on.

The cap is nice and large, and I appreciated that the formula is gentle on the skin. After actually using it, I experienced no issues whatsoever. The fragrance has an artificial vanilla scent that's quite noticeable. The texture feels a bit greasy - it's almost like oil has been applied to it. While the spreadability is good, it's just too oily for my preference. I'm someone who likes a more hydrating feel rather than an oily one, so this isn't really for me. That said, it's greasier than Burt's Bees Unscented, but not excessively so. It's actually much less oily than Dr. Bronner's, and less greasy than Blistex as well. A lightweight lip balm that feels like applying a gentle emulsion daily to keep lips healthy. Perfect for summer use with its soothing formula. I have very dry lips that flake easily, so I wear a lip balm even in summer. This one feels a bit too mild for my needs. I absolutely love the subtle vanilla scent and how smoothly it glides on. On days when my lips feel extra dry and flaky, the soothing effect is really noticeable. The staying power is fantastic too. Even when I apply it in the morning, my lips stay hydrated and moisturized for several hours. Compared to the white Blistex I used before, this one feels much smoother and the moisture lasts significantly longer. I used to be loyal to Vaseline Lip Therapy Original, but when my usual store ran out, I switched to this lip balm as an alternative. So please keep in mind that I'm comparing everything to Vaseline Lip Therapy as my reference point. 1. Portability and Convenience Switching from applying with my fingers to a stick format definitely makes application easier and more convenient to carry around. 2. Application It applies quite thinly. With the original Vaseline, I used to scoop out a generous amount with my finger and apply it thickly, so this felt noticeably thinner and lighter when I used it. 3. Scent It's supposed to be vanilla-scented, but honestly, all white lip balms smell pretty similar to me. Since Vaseline had no fragrance, I found this scent a bit strong at first. 4. Moisture I was worried that because it applies so thinly, it might not hydrate well, but the moisturizing power is actually great. Before I got this, my lips kept getting dry and I'd lick them constantly, which made them feel irritated and tight. I applied this three times before bed, and by the next morning, my lips felt so much better. No flaking either. 1. Lasting Power When I applied Vaseline thickly before bed, my lips stayed moisturized even after waking up. But this one seems to absorb quickly, so I find myself reapplying every three hours. 2. Application Issues With the stick format, you twist the handle to push the balm up, but when I swipe it back and forth across my lips multiple times, the stick twists on its own and retracts back inside. Then the stick part scratches my lips, which feels really uncomfortable. About that second drawback I mentioned, I found a workaround by holding both the handle and the stick part together so it doesn't twist. Skin Type: Most lip balms leave my lips feeling moisturized the next day, but that's not even the main issue—I actually get inflammation or small bumps and irritation around my mouth. Because of this, I've been hesitant to apply lip balm before bed. I was skeptical about this product too, so I bought it cautiously and applied just a tiny amount to my lips at first. But to my surprise, after using it, my lips felt comfortable the next day for the first time in a while. Other lip balms do hydrate my lips, but over time they seem to trigger more inflammation on my lips themselves or cause breakouts around my mouth. What I love most about this one is that none of that happens. Now I keep it right on my nightstand and apply it before bed every night. It doesn't give that ultra-plump, intensely moisturized feeling, but it provides just the right amount of hydration without feeling heavy—which is actually a plus for me. I can apply it mindlessly without worrying, and that's wonderful. Since it's colorless, I think I'll be sticking with this product for a while. No stickiness at all. I wish it didn't have fragrance in it. If you're looking for dramatic moisture boost, I wouldn't recommend this. It provides gentle, adequate hydration without irritation, but nothing more. When applying, you need to hold the base of the stick so it doesn't retract. That's a bit inconvenient. Keeping it on my nightstand is great because I can apply it whenever I wake up before falling back asleep.
