I really prefer German products, and this one definitely delivers on the promise of being gentle and worry-free for my hair. What impressed me most is how this clean-ingredient shampoo creates such fine, delicate lather that actually cleanses really well. I picked it up specifically because it's formulated as an acidic shampoo, which is perfect for color-treated hair like mine. The consistency is quite thin, which makes it tricky to control how much product I'm using. For a shampoo, the bottle doesn't last very long, so the price point feels a bit steep for what you're getting.

But ever since I started using Sebamed, I've stopped worrying about my scalp issues. Sure, it costs more than typical drugstore products, but when I think about all the scalp problems I used to deal with, it's totally worth it! I really recommend it! If I had to pick something, it would be the price, honestly. And the product selection is pretty limited too, which is why I end up ordering through a proxy service. At first, I thought it didn't lather much, but after using it for a bit, it actually works great.

Since it's pH-balanced, you don't even need conditioner—just applying essence afterward works perfectly fine. Like most pH-balanced shampoos, you really do need to do a double cleanse with this one.
