Application - It glides on like a gel Absorption - It's fine even if absorption is slower Recommended for - Works great for both dry and oily skin types I have dry and sensitive skin, so I tend to get breakouts about twice a month. Whenever that happens, I apply this clear face care gel before bed, and by the next morning it starts to calm down. I keep using it every night until the irritation completely settles. I haven't found anything to replace it yet! It doesn't work well with makeup. I'd recommend using it at night instead. Apply a generous amount as the final step of your nighttime skincare routine, and you'll wake up to calmer, less irritated skin! - lo********Da khôĐược đề xuất30/11/2024 (UTC+0)
It has a similar vibe to aloe gel - light, hydrating, and so soothing! I really love how it feels on my skin. Right after application, it leaves a slightly sticky residue, which is a bit disappointing. - sa********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất29/01/2023 (UTC+0)
This seems perfect for calming irritated skin. I noticed a soothing effect right after applying it. I usually don't do well with aloe products, but this one works great for me. The amount is a bit small, but I'm really happy with it. There's nothing really wrong with it, but since it's mainly water-based, I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin types. If you want to use this, you'd probably want to layer an oil or richer product on top to seal in the moisture. - hy****Da hỗn hợpĐược đề xuất03/08/2021 (UTC+0)
It's so lightweight! That's why it feels perfect to apply during the summer months. It's lightweight, but when I apply it to dry skin, I can feel that parched, uncomfortable feeling underneath. - my********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất01/05/2020 (UTC+0)
I have extremely sensitive, oily, and irritation-prone skin with folliculitis, but this product doesn't cause any breakouts. It feels lightweight and hydrating. It works great on my T-zone, but the moisturizing effect on my cheeks isn't quite enough, so I use something else there. Perfect for the T-zone. Or great for summer use. - dn******Da dầuDa mụnĐược đề xuất25/02/2020 (UTC+0)
It's lightweight and so easy to apply. The texture spreads beautifully on the skin. The scent is absolutely lovely. Hyaluronic acid doesn't seem to work well for my skin. My skin feels itchy and irritated. Not much else to add.

It took me until my mid-thirties to settle on something, but what a journey it's been. With troubled skin, I never even dared to think about targeted treatments or brightening products. Yet, like everyone else, I fell victim to marketing hype and kept trying new things, only to be disappointed again and again. After years of seeing no improvement, I became exhausted and realized something important: my skin just needs the basics. Whether it's fashion or skincare, mastering the fundamentals is actually the hardest part. Then I discovered Sebamed Care Gel. It contains no harsh chemicals that irritate my skin and no trendy natural ingredients that don't work for me. Instead, it uses only the bare minimum of ingredients to keep my skin calm and comfortable. All I want is to stick to the essentials, but honestly, finding a skincare product worldwide that's truly minimal, free from common allergens, and focuses only on the basics is nearly impossible. Sebamed deserves all my gratitude for creating something with no fancy claims, just a pH of 5.5 and thoughtfully excluded irritating ingredients. When my skin was in really bad condition, this gel felt too lightweight and actually made my skin feel tight and uncomfortable. But now, even as fall arrives, the Care Gel feels surprisingly hydrating and soothing. The formula sold domestically is quite different from the international version. I purchase the Sebamed USA version from iHerb instead. I really wish the Korean version had the same formula. My basic routine when my skin is severely compromised: Sebamed Care Gel plus 100% squalane oil. (I've learned that if I use the wrong cleanser or moisturizer, even the best Care Gel won't help. Cleansing is truly the foundation of all skincare. When my skin is really struggling, sometimes skipping extra treatments altogether seems to help it recover, but that's not always realistic.) My basic routine when my skin starts improving: Paula's Choice AHA 8% Gel plus Sebamed Care Gel plus urea cream or 100% squalane oil *Mandelic acid 40% treatment once weekly for 10 minutes *Spot sulfur ointment as needed - pa******Da trung tínhĐược đề xuất11/05/2018 (UTC+0)
You know how breakouts tend to flare up right before that time of the month? I've found my solution! I cleanse before bed, apply my toner, and then layer this on top. I focus it on the problem areas, and honestly, it works wonders. By the next morning, those angry bumps that were about to surface have calmed down and barely show, and the bigger blemishes are noticeably soothed. The texture is similar to aloe gel, so I dab it on rather than rubbing it in, and I keep my hands off my face while it works its magic overnight. The only thing I'd mention is that I'm using it as a sample size right now. Since I only apply it when breakouts happen, it's super convenient. If you're thinking about using it instead of your regular toner specifically for acne-prone skin, just know that using only this might leave your skin feeling a bit dry. - ci*******Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa dị ứng13/12/2017 (UTC+0)
The hydration is fantastic, and I've really seen great results when I've had breakouts. I haven't really found any downsides yet. The price seems pretty reasonable too. - hh****Da khôDa mụn20/11/2017 (UTC+0)
I got a sample and tried it out, and I'm really happy with it. I have acne-prone skin, but with proper care it only flares up during my hormonal cycle, which is manageable. What's amazing is that when I use this product during those hormonal breakout periods, my acne actually calms down noticeably, even if it takes a few days. Plus, after using it for just a few days, I can feel my skin becoming softer and smoother every single morning. The hydration level feels a bit underwhelming. On its own, it's not enough moisture for winter—my skin gets dry. So sometimes I apply a toner first before using this, but honestly, I'm usually too lazy to do that extra step. Most days I just cleanse, pat my skin semi-dry, apply this product, and then finish with a cream. Even with that simplified routine, it still works pretty well.
