The application is so smooth and easy! My friend brought this back as a gift from Europe, and I noticed my skin felt noticeably more hydrated the very next day after using it. My skin texture became so much softer and more refined, which I absolutely loved! Personally, I didn't find any downsides to this product. That said, if you have oily skin, you might feel it's a bit too rich or heavy.

Before Sebamed became widely available domestically, I would often buy it because it was affordable and effective. What I loved most was how gentle it was on my skin. This cream is lighter than a typical night cream, so if you have very dry skin, mixing it with a facial oil would work wonderfully. For me, it was perfect as-is. The next morning, my skin felt nourished without any greasy residue. For a night cream, it's surprisingly lightweight, which could be a pro or con depending on your needs. Honestly, there wasn't much difference between this and a day cream. While it does have a slightly richer feel, it's not as nourishing or creamy as I'd hoped compared to other night creams. I wish it had a bit more richness to it. I mixed two or three drops of facial oil with it before applying. I only did this on days when my skin felt particularly dry, and on other days I used it as-is.
