The sunscreen and makeup remover work incredibly well - I'm really impressed with how effective they are. Best of all, even though I have sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any irritation or breakouts at all. Since around 2018 and 2019, I've been using this cleansing oil consistently. While I've experienced breakouts from switching sunscreens or other products in between, I've never had any issues caused by this cleansing oil itself. It removes even thick mascara beautifully, and I actually prefer its slightly rich, creamy texture over watery formulas. This is hands down the best oil cleanser I've ever tried. It's not sticky at all and removes makeup so effectively that I'm really happy with it. This is the only thing that actually clears blackheads. Whenever I try other products, the blackheads just come right back, so I always return to this one. Yes, it's expensive, really expensive. I've been using this product for over 10 years and I'm really happy with it. To be honest, sunscreen is pretty much the only makeup I wear, but this cleansing oil does an amazing job removing both mineral and chemical sunscreens without any hassle. Feels amazing to use. When you roll it on for a while and rinse with warm water, it really brings out the oil and impurities. Leaves skin feeling fresh and clean. I absolutely loved the scent! The bottle and packaging are so beautiful too. My only wish is that it lasted a bit longer. The fragrance didn't quite meet my expectations. It's a bit too strong and overpowering for my taste. I was also hoping for better ingredients. I'd recommend this mainly for those with resilient skin. Use it with a gentle massage motion on dry skin, then add a little water and continue massaging before following up with a foam cleanser for a really clean finish. I've been using Shu Uemura for 15 years because the cleansing power is so effective that I can't switch to anything else. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and dry, and it emulsifies beautifully. The price is really hard on the wallet. Just because something is expensive doesn't mean it has better ingredients.
