At some point, my skin became really sensitive, so I can't just use any emulsion sunscreen anymore. Thankfully, Shiseido's foundation works perfectly fine on my skin with no irritation at all. I'm so relieved! I usually wear shade 21, and I picked up Light Sand. The shade runs a bit darker than I expected, but I'm really happy with how it performs. It's not overly thin or runny, and the wear time is solid and reliable. I haven't experienced any breakouts, but honestly, I'm not entirely convinced the coverage and longevity are significantly better than other products at this price point. From what I've tried, the texture is definitely smooth, which makes it apply beautifully. You can also find a shade that matches your skin tone without much trouble. This doesn't work for oily skin! I have oily skin and I've tried everything, but once the oil starts showing through, it's pretty much game over. I'd recommend applying it in sections rather than all at once. This foundation is absolutely life-changing. I've never found a better one. I've always had great results with Shu Uemura products, so I trusted my instinct and bought it. The coverage is fantastic, and most importantly, it makes my skin texture look incredibly smooth. On days when my skin is in good condition, it looks flawless and doesn't break down at all. It doesn't feel dry, and the shade is beautiful. When I apply it over flaky patches around my nose area, it tends to emphasize the dry spots rather than smooth them out. It applies so smoothly and weightlessly. The finish looks incredibly natural and flattering on skin. The color gives you that radiant, lit-from-within glow without ever looking overdone or artificial. What really shines here is the beautiful, skin-like finish rather than heavy coverage. No skin irritation, no darkening, doesn't break down, and since it's not a cushion formula, bacteria growth is minimal. The color range is fantastic, and it's fragrance-free so no dizziness or nausea. Overall, I'm absolutely loving it! Can feel quite dry, even very dry. If you have deep wrinkles, the product may settle into them. This is my holy grail foundation! I have combination skin with occasional breakouts, and this foundation covers imperfections beautifully, applies smoothly, and stays put all day without breaking down. I'm really disappointed that it's no longer available in Korea. My skin is oily and acne-prone. This makeup looks great, but the coverage isn't strong enough for me. When my skin is having a rough day, this can look powdery and cakey. If you have a lot of blemishes and imperfections, I'd skip this one.

Plus, there's barely any darkening or oxidation over time The coverage isn't as strong as I'd hoped. Of course, it depends on your skin type and other products you're using, but I found it to be quite matte. If you don't prep your skin well beforehand, it can feel dry. I wore it under a mask for about 7 hours, and when I took it off, the product had completely lifted away from all the areas where the mask was touching. I was really surprised. I'm honestly glad I only tested this as a sample before committing to a full size
