Wow... this product is absolutely amazing! When my skin barrier was completely compromised, I used this alone and nothing else. Just a tiny amount! For three days, my skin felt painfully tight and irritated, but after day three, I could really feel my skin calming down! My husband even noticed and said, "Your skin looks so much more settled now." Ha, well... this is literally called a calming cream, so it really lives up to its name! Usually people use this after laser treatments or when their skin barrier is damaged, but I used it after enzyme cleansing when I developed contact dermatitis, and honestly it was such a lifesaver during that really tough time! The fragrance is quite strong, so I had a headache-like feeling all day at first. But after two weeks of using it, I got used to it? Now I only notice the scent when I'm applying it, and after that fades away, I can barely tell if there's any fragrance left. When my skin isn't in great condition, this feels slightly thick when I apply it, so I use just a small amount and let it absorb. This is hands down the most effective Sisley product for my sensitive and reactive skin. Whenever I get breakouts, I apply this and by the next morning, my skin is completely calmed down. My complexion feels so soothed, comfortable, and incredibly soft and supple. The fragrance is quite strong, and it doesn't absorb immediately, so the application feel can seem a bit heavy at first. However, after a few minutes, my skin drinks it right up.
