I really love the Sisley brand, but I've been hesitant to use their products because they contain so many questionable ingredients. This product seemed to have fewer of those concerns, so I decided to give it a try. The good thing is that it works well... Since I have sensitive skin, this didn't work well for me. Just a tiny amount goes such a long way - it feels incredibly hydrating and absorbs beautifully into my skin. Even though I have dry skin, I can really feel how moisturized and nourished it leaves me feeling. I don't really have any complaints, but I did notice that the emulsion tends to harden slightly around the opening of the tube. This is actually a solid product! I can't say for certain if it visibly reduces wrinkles, but the hydration is definitely there. It's gentle too, which I appreciate. I use a separate exfoliating toner first, then use this as a serum instead of my regular one. If you think of it as a toner, the price feels steep, but if you consider it a serum, it's actually reasonable. The price is pretty high, and honestly, looking at the ingredients, I don't understand the cost. There are plenty of other products out there that are cheaper and just as good, so I wouldn't say this offers great value for money. That said, if you're willing to splurge for the luxurious finish and lovely texture, it might be worth trying. I always apply a hydrating serum or emulsion before using this, and I absolutely have to follow up with a rich, heavy cream afterward or my skin feels tight. The container is plastic, which isn't ideal, but I do appreciate that the pump has a lock feature. When you use this, layer it with a full routine of toner, serum, emulsion, and cream—all from a deeply hydrating line. Your skin will feel incredibly plump and firm. If you have a nourishing cream that you normally skip because your skin tends to feel oily, try applying this first and then layering the cream. Even as a toner, this delivers such rich nourishment that I just follow it up with an emulsion and I'm good to go. The scent is absolutely lovely, and it really seems to help calm and soothe my skin. The price is absolutely brutal, honestly. I know Sisley makes quality products, but the cost is no joke—it's seriously hard on the wallet.
