It lathers well, but it doesn't really help with my dry scalp....so disappointed I bought this moisturizing shampoo because it was supposed to be good for dry scalp, but I'm dealing with serious flaking and constant itching. I wash my hair every other day, and it's become such a stressful part of my morning routine. When I dry my hair, my scalp gets covered in white flakes and the itching is unbearable. The fragrance is lovely, and after using it, my hair feels smooth and moisturized without any frizz or dryness. My scalp feels itchy and I'm experiencing significant flaking. I stopped using it to see if that was the issue, switched to a different shampoo, and the symptoms cleared up. When I tried this one again, the same problems came back. I'm really disappointed since I bought the larger size. 1. The scent is absolutely lovely. It has such a fresh, invigorating aroma that leaves you feeling refreshed and energized after washing. 2. The lather is fantastic. You get a rich, abundant foam even with just a small amount of product. 1. The main reason I won't be repurchasing is that my scalp becomes incredibly itchy after using it. While my face is fine with most shampoos, my scalp has never had issues before, but this product causes severe itching. If you have a sensitive scalp, I'd recommend skipping this one. 2. This isn't suitable for dry hair at all. In fact, my hair becomes extremely dry after using it. My facial skin is very dry, and my scalp is normally balanced, but this product leaves everything feeling parched. It seems better suited for oily hair types. 3. I have short, cropped hair and often skip conditioner, just using shampoo alone without any frizz issues. The cleansing power is really impressive. What I love most is that despite how effective it is, it doesn't irritate my scalp at all, which is perfect. Honestly, there aren't really any downsides. The bottle is generously sized, but I did notice that when I use it during winter, my hair strands feel a bit dry and rough. I'd recommend using a generous amount each time. When you work up a rich lather before washing, your hair ends up feeling much less dry and parched.

I've been buying and using only this product for years now—since 2016, actually. I even went out of my way to hunt it down when I was studying abroad in Germany. That's how much I adore it. The shampoo alone is a bit drying since it's silicone-free, but the treatment that comes with it is fantastic. I'd definitely recommend the treatment over the rinse. I decided to buy this one because the other brand wasn't on sale, but this one was. What really drew me in was that it's silicone-free, which was important to me. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it lathers considering it doesn't have silicone. I really love this product and keep repurchasing it, but I was shocked to learn it contains quite a few harmful ingredients. That said, it lathers beautifully, smells amazing, and feels so smooth on my skin - I'm genuinely enjoying using it. I've been going through several bottles without knowing about any downsides, but I was really surprised when I accidentally found out it has a lot of harmful ingredients in it.

But when I went to the store, it was on sale, so I grabbed it anyway—and I absolutely love it! Honestly, everyone's experience might be different, but I don't get any dryness or flaking at all. My scalp tends to be dry and I used to get dandruff, so I picked up the dry scalp formula first, and I'm completely thrilled with it! The price is really reasonable at the store too, and I think Olive Young carries it as well. Seriously, you have to try it! There's nothing to say about it. My hair is dry and damaged, while my scalp tends to be oily and sensitive. I switched over from another silicone-free shampoo to this one. Since using a silicone-free shampoo, my hair feels noticeably more hydrated and less dry and brittle. After switching to Syoss shampoo especially, my hair has become much calmer and more manageable. Compared to other products, my scalp gets flakier and greasier more easily with this one. If you have an oily scalp, I'd recommend either washing your hair daily or making sure to use a good conditioner or rinse to keep things balanced.
