Thankfully, the color came out beautifully and evenly! Compared to other hair dyes, my hair felt so much smoother and healthier after rinsing. The color payoff was rich and even, and best of all, the price is fantastic! The chemical smell from this hair dye is incredibly strong - even my husband was taken aback by it, and the odor lingered for days. While other dyes do release some color when you rinse, this one is on another level. No matter how many times I rinsed, the color kept bleeding out into the tub. I was so worried about staining everything! My arms and back were exhausted from all that rinsing, and honestly, I don't think I'll use this product again. Since I have long, thick hair, one bottle wasn't quite enough product for full coverage. If you have a similar hair type and length, I'd recommend getting one and a half bottles to make sure you have enough. For a hair dye, the formula isn't actually that bad. The scalp irritation is noticeably less intense, and the smell is much less harsh. It does a decent job covering gray hair. You can keep using what's left over as a root touch-up treatment. I really appreciated that the kit includes a comb, a plastic mixing bowl, and a protective cape to keep the dye off your clothes. It looks fine at first glance, but when you shine a light on it, you can see the color is patchy and uneven. Even if you follow the instructions carefully, it's tough to get perfect results when you're doing it yourself. Following the instructions step by step
