This product seems absolutely perfect for dry skin. It does have a bit of oil to it, so those with oily skin might find it's not quite their match. The coverage is seriously impressive. I naturally have some redness on my cheeks, and normally after I apply makeup, my cheeks get really flushed after a little while. But with this product, that doesn't happen, and I really love that about it. I don't have any downsides to share. Theseam is definitely my go-to concealer. The coverage is so generous that it lasts forever. No breakouts, and it makes your skin look absolutely flawless and radiant. Just do a final tap-tap with the puff and you're done! If you apply it without a solid base, it breaks down unevenly and starts to look patchy and cakey. The darkening effect is quite intense, especially with shade 2. It oxidizes about two shades darker than when first applied. Initially, I thought shade 2 would work, but after a few hours it became too red and dark, so I switched to shade 1.5. Unfortunately, shade 1.5 has the same darkening issue. This product is challenging for beginners to use. Since it's a night-type formula, controlling the amount is difficult, and when you need more coverage for problematic skin, you end up layering it too thickly, which makes it break down even faster. While this could be a beautiful, sheer product if applied correctly, it requires a lot of time and a delicate touch to use properly. For most people, it's just too demanding to work with, and honestly, I've stopped reaching for it after just a couple of tries. I purchased this product with a brush included, and it works amazingly well with my foundation base! Several of my oily-skinned friends, about 3 or 4 of them, loved it so much they bought it too. They especially mentioned how great it is for covering redness and blemishes. I personally use it to conceal my dark circles, and when I prep my skin properly, it adheres like sticky rice cake. The generous size and sturdy case mean I'll be using this for a long time. The Saem is already famous for their coverage products, so this lives up to the reputation! I have dry, thin skin with visible blue-toned dark circles. With dry skin, the balm formula tends to separate more often than I'd like. It also applies a bit thickly, so I've experienced some clumping. If you have dry skin, I'd recommend doing a solid base routine first, then applying this concealer thinly. The key is to hydrate your base well first, then give it enough time to absorb before applying this product. That way it won't separate as easily. I also found that picking up just a small amount on the brush, then blending it into my hydrating foundation like you're mixing the two together, and then applying it evenly works really well.
