It seems like you need to use it for a while to really see the results, but it's worth the wait! Honestly, I can't think of any real downsides, but if I had to pick something, I guess the only thing is... well, it's hard to say.

I tried the sample and loved it so much that I wanted to buy the full size, but it's out of stock right now. Since I have sensitive skin, I can't use just anything, but even though this product contains retinol, it doesn't irritate my skin at all, which is amazing. For those trying it for the first time, I'd suggest doing a patch test with a small amount every other day, and then you can use it daily. You'll definitely notice your skin texture becomes smoother and those pesky pores seem to tighten up noticeably! I really hope this comes back in stock soon. The price is a bit steep, and the amount of product feels a little small, which is disappointing. I wish there was more product in each bottle. You can apply this without any irritation. If you have sensitive skin but want to try retinol, this is a great option for you. I've been using it for a week and I don't have any major complaints. The low concentration means that even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any harsh stinging or irritation. That said, I did notice some redness appearing, which suggests there's a certain level of irritation happening. I've been using it for 6 weeks now, and unfortunately, I'm only seeing more breakouts. I understand that some people say these kinds of reactions can occur during skin cell turnover cycles, but at the 6-week mark, I really expected to see some improvement by now. I'm quite disappointed, to be honest. For now, I'm planning to keep using it and see what happens.

Best of all, it didn't irritate my skin or trigger any breakouts. When I applied a generous amount before bed, my face felt hydrated and never looked dull the next morning. The scent isn't overpowering, but it's not really my thing. It has this herbal quality that reminds me of dried grass or hay, which isn't the most pleasant. Since this is a night treatment, it does have a sticky texture that would be pretty uncomfortable to wear during the day. I'm not sure if the retinol is actually working, but I'm applying it consistently and it seems to be going well. The hydration feels lacking. It has a soy-like scent that I'm really not a fan of.
