The color is absolutely gorgeous and the pigment stays put for ages. I can drink from a cup without worrying about it smudging off After wearing it for a few days though, my lips started feeling irritated and it stung every time I applied it

The container is absolutely adorable—it looked just okay in photos, but in person the star shape is so cute. The formula feels moisturizing without creating harsh lines inside the lips when applied. You just need to be mindful with how much you use. The color payoff is really nice, and there's a subtle luminous finish that gives a glossy look without feeling heavy or overdone. Compared to my usual go-to shades, this one has a slightly cooler tone. When I actually apply it to my lips, that coolness mellows out a bit and it becomes more neutral, but it's not quite the muted shade I was hoping for—a little disappointing. Also, I'm not sure if this is typical of tinted lip products lately, but the applicator tends to clump a bit when I apply it. I have to remove excess product and spread it really thin to get an even application. I purchased this on July 3rd and received it around July 4th. I used it, took swatches, and wrote my initial review. I definitely opened and used it by July 5th. Whenever I apply tint, I always make sure to wipe my lips clean first. Two days ago, I applied it before heading out, and that night my lips started feeling itchy. By the next morning, I had developed chapped lip symptoms. I'm honestly shocked this happened in less than six months of use—the scent and color were still fine, but I'm really taken aback. I don't think I'll be buying from this brand again. If you're prone to chapped lips or have sensitive skin, I'd recommend either skipping this or planning to use it within three months maximum. When you layer it on, it comes out as a slightly cooler pink shade. If you want something for a bare-faced look, just apply it once with a light hand—don't go overboard. That way it looks really natural and blends beautifully with your complexion.
