This lip color gives such a delicate, sheer finish that it's absolutely perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. It's ideal for those days when you want to keep things minimal but still put in a little effort. Plus, the glossy finish applies beautifully. I have sensitive, atopic skin that tends to react when products have too many active ingredients. Over the past few years, I've tried countless lip products without any major issues. However, whenever I apply this tip tint, I get a red, allergic reaction along my lip line. It's disappointing because I noticed such a clear difference in my lip condition on days I wore it versus days I didn't. I was worried when I heard it might be a bit warm-toned, even though the detailed images said cool-tone... but it turned out to be perfect for me since I'm into that neutral, in-between tone right now!! It's not overly warm, so even cool-tone lovers can rock this balanced shade!! The application is so smooth and the design is absolutely gorgeous, so I find myself reaching for it all the time!! Because of this, you might notice it emphasizes fine lines and dry patches. It doesn't have enough coverage to hide natural lip color. But it does even out your lip tone and color beautifully. When I wore it throughout the day, the staying power was really solid. I found it helpful to gently wipe the inner lip area. It works great as a cheek tint too, though your hair might stick to it sometimes. For deeper skin tones, this worked wonderfully as a base lip product. Pink beige is the right description, but it has a neutral undertone with a slightly cool feeling. It's not super sheer - your natural lip color shows through about halfway, so the final color will really depend on your own lip tone. The case feels a bit flimsy, honestly... Even though it's called a jelly stick, think of it more as a slightly moisturizing lip stick. I'm someone who prefers keeping my makeup minimal, and I honestly can't bring myself to wear blush or lipstick in bold, standout shades because they make me self-conscious. My skin tone is estimated to be deep undertone, around shade 21-22. What makes these products amazing is that beyond just the color itself, I can use them as both a lip tint and a cheek tint in one go. I highly recommend them! Peripera Pudding Pot: Without, My Without is literally a perfect baby pink, while My has that faded coral vibe. With the Pudding Pot formula, the more you layer it, the more vibrant the color becomes. Personally, I love blurring it out and applying it sheer. What's really special about the Pudding Pot is how the color payoff has this bouncy, plump quality to it, so when you apply it lightly, it makes your natural lip color look beautiful and enhanced. Tiptoe Jelly Stick: Toshoes It's famous as the "rabbit tongue" lip product, right? It applies with a slightly tacky feel similar to a Bobbi Brown lip balm, but the color payoff is more like a tinted lip balm. Because of this, your natural lip color shows through to some degree, so the color payoff might look different depending on who's wearing it. While it's not as glossy as a lip gloss or a tanghulu lip, it's definitely more hydrating and plump than your typical lip balm. The shine does fade a bit over time. It's a shade that makes you look like someone with naturally beautiful lips. Alternative Stereo Lip Potion Balmyrose - Nude Apricot The color name "Nude" plus "Apricot" really lives up to its description. It's a warm-toned nude apricot shade that's absolutely perfect for warm undertones. It doesn't have much pink in it, but it's not overly yellow either. The texture feels like a lip essence with color pigment added to it, so it doesn't really smooth out lip lines dramatically. All four of these shades should work beautifully for anyone with a skin tone around shade 21 or lighter. The case design looks really cheap. The color is so delicate and beautiful, and it looks especially gorgeous when applied to the cheeks. It works wonderfully as a base for the eyes, cheeks, and lips. Applied to cheeks - caused redness and itching. Applied to lips - triggered cold sores. I really love the color and want to keep using it, but the area on my cheeks where I applied it became so itchy and red, and I developed cold sores on my lips after using it for a while.
