I used to use regular contouring, but I switched to this new one. The old shading was always too intense on my nose, making it look harsh. The shade works beautifully regardless of whether you have warm or cool undertones! The color payoff isn't overly intense, which means you can build it up gradually while shading without worrying about mistakes. That said, it's not too sheer either—you get a nice balance. I had high expectations for this shading product since it's so popular, but the fallout is absolutely terrible. On top of that, I used it frequently and the center wore down, and then one day it just shattered in my pouch without any rough handling. The formula seems really fragile and breaks easily.
