I was supposed to get shade 25, but the restock was taking forever, so I just grabbed shade 24 instead. There's a slight color difference—maybe just a touch lighter than I'd normally go. The foundation applies with a bit of substance rather than sheer, and it gives such a beautiful skin-like finish. I did notice a tiny bit of texture in my dry patches, but a quick dab of moisturizer underneath and a touch-up on top fixed it right up. I didn't notice any darkening throughout the day. The finish sits somewhere between satin and dewy—definitely not matte by my standards. I also did a powder set on top, and when I touched up my lips after lunch, the foundation blended seamlessly without any caking. Really impressed with how it performed.
It transfers like crazy! That's the only real issue, which is such a shame because I love everything else about it—that's why I'm docking a star. The thick application might be why it transfers, but interestingly, when it does come off my face, it doesn't leave a visible patch or smudge. The other downside is that the formula isn't in a sponge applicator—you have to press and squeeze out small amounts, which makes it a bit tricky to control the amount you're dispensing.
Just be mindful with how much you use. This works great for anyone with mild dryness to normal skin, and even those with light oiliness who love a luminous glow would appreciate it.
