I started using this balm within 30 minutes after intimacy. But after using this balm, I noticed the infections stopped coming back reliably. It has a cheap vitamin-like scent, and honestly, the fragrance isn't that pleasant. Even though it comes in a tube, it's a bit stiff, so you need to warm it up with your hand heat before applying it. I experienced a tiny bit of itchiness, though I'm sure everyone's experience will differ. Plus, the price point is pretty steep! It has a rich, balmy texture similar to petroleum jelly that creates a protective barrier over uncomfortable spots, which really helps ease discomfort and speeds up healing. It has a subtle feminine hygiene product-like scent that I actually enjoy.
