It's a nourishing night formula that works great for dry skin types. Smooth finish and refined pores even with just the sponge. You don't need a brush at all—the sponge alone gives you a beautifully even application. The glow comes through naturally. Shade blends seamlessly for a radiant look. For my skin tone, the number 1 rosy porcelain shade isn't too much—it adds a subtle, fresh glow. Really impressive staying power. On the day I applied it, I barely needed any touch-ups throughout the day. Doesn't cover blemishes and breakouts very well. It barely covers red marks or acne scars, so I ended up needing a concealer underneath. Feels a bit sticky when using a brush. For my dry skin, when I swept the brush across, the skincare layer underneath shifted slightly, creating a tacky feeling. That's why I stopped using the brush. I'd recommend using just the sponge if you have dry skin. Instead of sweeping with a brush, press and bounce the sponge to apply—it blurs pores beautifully and gives you a gorgeous glow. Apply concealer first as a thin layer, then use this product on top. Wow, I absolutely love this product!!!! (This is the reformulated version) When the weather suddenly got cold, the foundations and cushions I used to wear started flaking after a while, which was so frustrating. But this one? No flaking at all, and the hydration lasts so long. Touch-ups go on beautifully, and there's barely any darkening at all!!! The staying power is already excellent, so I barely need to do touch-ups throughout the day. Since I have dry skin, I only get a bit of dryness in certain areas after a few hours, so I just apply a Missha balm or Mamonde cream and then use the cushion to refresh my makeup. The formula creates this light layer of moisture when you apply it, which feels like it's forming a protective barrier. I really think this is perfect for people with dry skin. +(After using it for about two months) It was fine through early winter, but now that it's the windy, cold season, you really need to take care with your skincare routine first. I've noticed some darkening in winter, so I mix in a little color-correcting makeup base and it works great! Since this is a balm-type formula, it's a bit tricky to use. You really have to be careful with how much you apply. It works best when you spread it with a dedicated brush or spatula and then tap it in with the cushion for better lasting power. If you only use the cushion to apply it, the coverage can feel a bit heavy and cakey on the skin. Also, because it's a balm type, dust sticks to it way too easily, which is annoying. Plus, if you have oily skin, I wouldn't recommend this. Your skin might feel suffocated and uncomfortable. If you have dry skin, you absolutely need to get this. It's so good. I've been using the pre-reformulation version. I was hesitant to try it thinking it would be thick, so I hadn't used it before. I tested it with the complimentary brush instead of the puff, and it applies just as sheer as a regular cushion foundation. The coverage is excellent and the staying power is pretty solid. I thought the adhesion might be lacking, but it actually grips really well! There's minimal transfer, which is better than your typical dewy cushion. The pore coverage is fantastic, and it doesn't emphasize texture or uneven skin in bright lighting. It doesn't feel drying on my extremely dry skin. Skin concerns: none. Slight sensitivity, but no breakouts. Are you serious? It got reformulated right after I bought it. I'm so frustrated. If you were going to reformulate it, you should have given us a heads up. Honestly, whether you use the complimentary brush or any other brush, they all work great! If you apply it with the puff, it'll probably feel thicker.

The application felt a bit drier than I expected, but it blended beautifully, so it wasn't difficult to work with. I'm not sure how well it pairs with the complimentary brush, but it works wonderfully with a spatula brush and applies smoothly. The Rosy Porcelain shade has quite a bit of pink undertone to it. When applied, the finish feels hydrated and dewy. The skin looks absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful glow, and the way it wears throughout the day is really pretty. I used to buy shade 21N for other cushions, but one day I wanted to try a slightly lighter tone, so I decided to go with Rosy Porcelain. Unlike other cushions, it doesn't leave that white cast on my skin! The coverage blends so naturally, and I'm really happy with it. I'd definitely repurchase once I finish this one. The coverage is personally very satisfying, and the staying power is excellent too. I do my makeup in the morning and it holds up beautifully until evening without breaking down. On sweaty days, it does fade a bit gradually, but overall I'm impressed. The only thing I could mention is that it picks up dust easily, but honestly, I haven't found any other disappointing aspects so far! When you apply it with the dedicated Wakeup Makeup Coating Balm brush, it goes on thin and looks really pretty! The amount control works really well. You know that controlling the amount is essential, right?

What I'm looking for is a cushion with just the right amount of hydration and a dewy finish. Even when it breaks down throughout the day, it doesn't emphasize my pores or cause any major issues - it's honestly my holy grail cushion. I just use the included puff to gently tap it on. Heavy, oil-based sunscreens don't work for me. What I need is something that adheres smoothly without feeling greasy - that's the perfect match for my skin. When I layer Bioderma pore cream underneath, then apply a hydrating essence, and finish with this cushion, it's absolutely perfect.
