This is absolutely perfect for winter! I love how moisturizing it is even without layering a glow product on top. The tint alone keeps my lips feeling hydrated and dewy all season long. I got so much use out of this during the colder months. The sticky texture is really bothersome, and it transfers way too easily. I honestly can't recommend this tint for summer at all. The color payoff is practically nonexistent, which is really disappointing. Skin Type: Light Undertone (Fair Complexion) I have a very cool undertone, but my lips naturally lean purple, so pink lipsticks turn violet on me - I have incredibly tricky lip color to work with! Plus, my skin tone is super finicky: heavy coverage looks off, shades that are too light wash me out, and anything too deep doesn't work either. This lipstick is absolutely stunning on me though - I'm begging them never to discontinue it! If you have a light undertone like me, finding the right lip color can be a real challenge, so you absolutely have to try this one! When I apply one layer, it gives a delicate, sheer finish. With two layers, it has a gorgeous glossy effect. I usually start with a lip base and then apply just one thin layer on top. The more layers you apply, the deeper it gets. Also, after using it for a while, it seems to change color inside the tube, so I end up repurchasing it regularly. I can wear both warm and cool tones. My personal color palette is autumn deep, winter deep, and light undertone as my top choices. For the tint color, neutral muted tones work beautifully. Since it's a lighter shade, the result really depends on your individual lip tone. My lips tend to have quite a bit of pink, so I use this wonderfully for light undertone makeup looks. The formula has a moisturizing feel with a slightly sticky gloss texture mixed in. It gives a dewy, luminous finish. I love how it applies smoothly over lip lines without emphasizing any dry patches or texture. There's nothing disappointing about it. It does get slightly darker as you apply more, which I actually love since I'm a cool winter deep tone. I also use it as a lip base. When I wear it alone, the color is quite sheer, and since I have naturally defined lip lines, they show through completely. I usually remove my lip lines with a stick concealer or lip pencil before applying it. Just keep in mind that results vary depending on your natural lip tone. The shine looks absolutely gorgeous the moment you apply it - it has that beautiful candy-coated gloss effect! It feels so hydrating and dewy without being sticky or heavy, which I absolutely love. It sets beautifully and stays put! You'll definitely need to exfoliate first! The amount seems a bit skimpy at first, but then again maybe it's not - hard to tell, honestly.
