I really loved this product - it has such a sweet fragrance and glides on so smoothly, leaving my skin feeling beautifully hydrated. While I wanted to build up the coverage by layering, this formula doesn't work well when applied in multiple layers.

I've been using this product for years now! I have a cool summer undertone, and I'd definitely recommend Lazy Mauve to anyone with a light, cool summer complexion! The staying power isn't super strong, but here's what I love about it—when the color starts to fade, I can reapply it and it looks just as beautiful as the first application. The finish is perfectly balanced, not too glossy and not too matte, so it sits beautifully on my lips without any flaking or patchiness! The shade is such a pretty pink—not too pale, not too muted—it's exactly the kind of light undertone that just works perfectly for my skin tone! The scent is almost undetectable, but I have noticed a slight vinegar-like smell develops over time. Since this is a lip product, I've learned that keeping it clean is really important. Make sure you wipe your lips before applying—it makes such a difference! The tint tends to separate and break apart easily. I've talked to other friends who use this tint, and they all say the same thing—it breaks apart on them too. Since the tint does separate, just make sure to gently wipe the sides of the tube before each use! While the staying power isn't the strongest, I actually appreciate that it doesn't get darker over time—I can reapply and keep that fresh, original color all day long. The color payoff is incredibly rich and the staying power is fantastic. Plus, the shade itself is absolutely gorgeous. I received this as a gift and gave it a try. The pink shade doesn't really complement my skin tone, so I noticed the color tends to sit a bit heavy on my lips. However, I think anyone with cooler undertones would look absolutely stunning wearing this! The only downside I can point out is that the shade just doesn't work for my complexion.
