The name has pink in it, but it's really more of a red with just a hint of pink undertone, if that makes sense? The deep undertone shade was absolutely amazing to work with. The color is so gorgeous—I'm honestly confused why they discontinued it. I didn't realize there were so many cautionary ingredients in this. The color is absolutely stunning! I'm obsessed with how beautiful it looks. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, I thought it would be really intense, but once I applied it to my lips, it created this gorgeous shade that looks so naturally flattering on me! After wearing it for a week, I developed what looks like a small allergic reaction on my upper lip with redness, so unfortunately I can't use it anymore. My undertone is shade 23 / spring soft tone. A YouTuber named Mins recommended this lip color, and since our undertones seemed similar, I grabbed it right away! The color feels like red with just a few drops of coral mixed in! But it's toned down a bit, so it's not overly vibrant (though it still has good color saturation). Pink usually doesn't work for me, but this one has a nice blend of red and orange, so it works great! That said, everyone's skin is different, so I really recommend testing it first before buying. My lips tend to be dry and flaky, but this matte lip doesn't emphasize the texture as much as other matte formulas do. The Wakemake Rouge Tint has a matte finish but doesn't highlight flakiness as much, and it feels lightweight when I apply it to my lips, so I'm really happy with it. That said, it does transfer onto masks a bit, and since it's a matte formula, on days when my lips are extra flaky, I make sure to apply a lip balm first or exfoliate before applying. If I had to pick a downside, the staying power is a bit weak, and like all matte lipsticks, it does show some texture. 1. Apply lip balm first, then blot with a tissue 2. Apply the pink lipstick, then blot with a tissue again 3. I absolutely loved this matte lipstick! The texture is so soft and powdery without feeling dry or chalky. It applies smoothly and feels comfortable on the lips. The finish has this beautiful, airy quality that makes creating gradients super easy. The color is labeled as pink, but it has this gorgeous warm orange undertone mixed in, which looks stunning on warm skin tones. You really get this lovely blend of pink, orange, and red all at once. The matte formula made it tricky to apply beautifully when my lips weren't in perfect condition, and it did emphasize some dry patches. The staying power was disappointing too—it started fading from the inner part of my lips first, and eventually only the outline remained. I love how smoothly this applies and the grip is really impressive. It barely transfers onto my mask, which is amazing. There's definitely some staying power too - when I wiped it off with a wet tissue right after application, the color stayed put except for a little smudging. It took a few rubs to fully remove it. Since it's a warm pink tone, it works beautifully on my warm undertone skin. It leans slightly deeper, so I'd definitely recommend it if you have a warm, golden complexion. The color is absolutely gorgeous! The longevity could be better, I won't lie. But honestly, that's just part of the territory with lipstick, so I can't complain too much. Other than that, I'm really happy with it.

I was hunting for an autumn lip color and grabbed this Wake Make Rouge Gun Zero Lost Pink series because the shade caught my eye. The Rouge Gun Zero line is all about pink tones, but shade 27 is this gorgeous blend of red and pink that I absolutely love. The color payoff is interesting - apply it multiple times and you get more red, but a single swipe gives you more pink. Since Wake Make lip products tend to have a matte finish, I layer a generous lip balm underneath or mix it with a hydrating tint or lipstick to keep things from feeling too dry. I personally use plenty of lip balm, so mine comes out as a soft pink. The lip texture does show a bit, but this red-pink shade is perfect for fall and spring looks. I wish the lip tints and lipsticks weren't so matte. The ingredient list is pretty limited with only about 4 key components, and there are some potential allergens that I'm concerned about. This lipstick applies like a dream! It glides on smoothly and delivers such a gorgeous muted red shade with beautiful color payoff. The downside is that the staying power isn't the strongest. Wake Make really delivers when it comes to color quality - every single shade is absolutely worth having in your collection As a lipstick, the staying power isn't quite there, and since I really prioritize longevity, I have to be honest - if wear time is important to you, this might not be the best choice
