My nails got pretty roughed up from the drilling and removal process, but after applying this product and checking back a few days later, that rough texture had smoothed out noticeably. The color is a soft peachy pink too, which gives my nails this natural, healthy flush that looks really nice. My only wish is that the brush applicator were just a bit wider for easier application. Just so you know the difference: a nail strengthener is meant to nourish and feed your nails, while a hardener is designed to harden and protect thin, fragile nails from breaking. This product is more of a nourishing treatment rather than a hardening one (I noticed the brand actually sells a separate hardener in their line). My nails were so brittle and splitting, so I decided to give this a try. I love the soft pink shade, and it dries super quickly! The strengthener I used before made my nails feel stiff like gel polish, but this one isn't quite as rigid.
