Great for oily skin that gets dry in winter Even Aesop's official website recommends it for oily skin in winter - which implies it might be too drying for those with dry skin For a cream, it finishes quite fresh and light The scent is absolutely delightful - The cream has a slightly thick texture, making it a bit challenging to spread evenly - It's on the pricey side This moisturizer works hard to balance oil and moisture, making it ideal for combination dehydrated skin in colder months. It absorbs well without feeling sticky, leaving your complexion with a natural glow. While it hydrates effectively, those with super sensitive skin might want to patch test first to check for any potential irritation. - ir******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2024
True to Aesop's brand character, the fragrance was absolutely delightful. It's not your typical cosmetic scent, but rather reminiscent of a luxurious hand cream. I personally loved it. The cream's texture is quite rich with a noticeable oil content, which suited my dry skin perfectly. As for hydration, it might be a bit intense for summer use. I haven't tried it in winter yet, but I imagine it would work wonders. The rich, oily texture might feel a bit heavy during the summer months. It could potentially be a bit much for those with oily skin or in humid weather. A facial cream with an enchanting fragrance - ju******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2024
It's a yellow cream, and being an Aesop product, the fragrance is delightful It doesn't address deep dryness at all, so I think I'll have to use it just as a hand cream - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2024
The fragrance and how it absorbs were excellent. Despite my oily skin, it didn't just sit on the surface. It lacks hydration, which is both a pro and a con. For combination dehydrated skin, it doesn't provide enough moisture. None - ha*********Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJan 23, 2024
The scent is lovely - a nice blend of herbal notes with a natural orange peel fragrance. It doesn't absorb well and feels like it's just sitting on top of the skin. It's not helpful for deep dryness. - au*****Combination SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2023
Gentle fragrance. Minimalist packaging. Absorbs well without pilling. Smooth application... or so I thought, but after using it for a couple of months, I noticed some pilling. The hydration isn't extraordinary. It's just okay. The price is somewhat reasonable for the amount you get. Buy it at duty-free shops or through direct overseas purchases. It's ridiculously overpriced domestically... I wouldn't use it at that price point. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityNov 26, 2023
I bought this after trying it on the back of my hand - it felt so moisturizing and had such a refreshingly delightful scent! The hydration wasn't deep or long-lasting enough, so even in summer it wasn't sufficient to use on its own. Also, since it comes in a jar, it's difficult to reach the bottom without a spatula, which feels a bit unhygienic. - eu*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2023
The scent is lovely and it doesn't cause any blemishes! I think the hydration was pretty good too. To be honest, I'm not sure if the effectiveness truly justifies the price.
