When applied, it feels like you've slapped on a primer. Lip wrinkles vanish wickedly, leaving a smooth finish, but without any shine. It actually has more of a matte feel. Interestingly, it seems even more hydrating than the cooling version. The accessibility is too frustrating. It used to be available at Olive Young, but where has it gone these days? - hs********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 2, 2024
This is an absolute must-have for chapped lips or atopic dermatitis! It's quite good overall. I love that it doesn't leave a shiny finish, making it perfect for everyday use. The texture feels like you're applying a powdery balm to your lips. While it might feel a bit heavy if you apply too much, unlike a typical lip mask, it gives a protective feeling on chapped lips. I'm pretty satisfied with it. The texture might not be for everyone. It can feel a bit heavy. Better for daily light application rather than as an overnight mask! - cx********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 3, 2024
Applies smoothly without feeling greasy, leaving a soft, powdery finish. It's like a matte but moisturized texture. Don't get me wrong, it's not completely matte - it's still hydrating. Since it doesn't leave a greasy sheen, I'd recommend it for men too. The slim, oval-shaped package fits perfectly in your back pocket. The scent is a bit off-putting, slightly reminiscent of saliva (though not too strong). If you apply too much lip balm, the product can crumble and leave white residue on your lips. It's strange because the texture isn't soft, yet it breaks apart like wax. It's best to apply it with just one or two swipes. Any more than that and the formula starts to build up on your lips. I don't think it's suitable for nighttime care. I was a fan of ChapStick but started noticing a slight odor, so I went looking for another lip balm with good ingredients. That's when I discovered O'Keeffe's! I thought the matte finish would be great for wearing over lip tint or for everyday care. However, one day when I applied it frequently, it started to break apart and turn white on my lips. Looks like I'm back to searching for the perfect lip balm... ha ha! I'd recommend this for light, daytime use only, with just a swipe or two. - ye********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 28, 2024
1. High-quality ingredients 2. Provides just the right amount of hydration 3. Not oily, so it doesn't leave a greasy shine 1. The twist-up packaging often fails to retract the product properly, requiring manual pressure to push it back in - bi*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 23, 2024
I bought this after reading recommendations and I'm very satisfied. It moisturizes well - that's really all that needs to be said in a review! Many stick-type lip balms tend to dry out your lips or even worsen their condition when used long-term. That's why I usually prefer tube-type lip balms, or rather lip treatments and lip care products. I typically go for thick, nourishing formulas that focus on healing rather than fragrance or shine. But this one? I've been testing it for a few weeks now, and it's been great! It doesn't dry out my lips, nor does it feel too greasy. I'm really enjoying using it. The oval, elongated shape makes it easy to apply even on the cracked skin around the corners of my mouth. The scent? It's not overpowering or constantly noticeable, but there's a subtle fragrance. I'm not sure if it's meant to be minty, as sometimes it has a slightly peculiar note. In any case, it's not strong. - wk******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 7, 2024
As someone with angular cheilitis, I can't just use any product, but this one is great. It keeps my lips moisturized without causing them to chap. That's why I'm on my 6th tube now. I also love that it doesn't leave a shiny finish. It used to be available in Olive Young stores, but nowadays it's hard to find there, so you have to buy it online. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 13, 2023
I bought this out of curiosity since it was a brand I'd never seen before, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is. The hydration and lasting power are both excellent, and best of all, with consistent use, it really helps reduce dead skin cells. It's a bit pricier than your average lip balm, and since it melts quite easily, it doesn't last as long as you might expect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 5, 2023
Matte yet moisturizing. It doesn't make your skin greasy when applied, offers supreme hydration, and is fragrance-free. None. I'm on my fourth bottle. The only downside is that it's not easily available at Olive Young stores. - hn*****Normal SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2023
I personally love that it doesn't make my lips shiny like other lip balms and looks natural when applied. When applied moderately, it doesn't feel slippery but rather clings to the lips perfectly. I'll definitely keep repurchasing this. When I twisted it up too far, it was difficult to retract. I had to push it down while twisting to get it back in. Now I'm only extending it a tiny bit when using. Because of this, I can't really check how much product is left. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2022
I don't usually use lip balm, but I bought this in a hurry when my lips were severely chapped. The hydration is definitely impressive. What sets it apart from other lip balms is that even when applied generously, it has a matte appearance. This makes it comfortable to apply in public, which I really appreciate! Scent: It's subtle, so most people might not notice, but to me it smells a bit like... saliva? When I lent it to a friend, they didn't notice at first, but after I mentioned it, they agreed that the comparison was spot-on. Nevertheless, it's close to being unscented, so I'm still using it without issues. This would be great for those who dislike the greasy shine that some lip balms leave, making it look like you've just eaten barbecue!
