The affordable price is great, and it's perfect for summer when this lip balm alone does the trick For someone with very dry lips like me, a liquid lip balm seems to work better in winter - pa*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 18, 2021
I liked how it applies lightly without feeling heavy. Even after multiple applications, it didn't feel burdensome. The scent is so-so. It's hard to describe, but it has a sweet yet refreshing feel to it. As someone with a lot of dead skin cells on my lips (I have an abundance of tiny flakes), I found the staying power disappointing. After a short while, my lips would dry out and the dead skin cells would actually become more noticeable. I wouldn't recommend this to those who, like me, have a lot of flaky skin on their lips. It's too light for use before bed, but it's decent enough as a lip balm to carry around and apply throughout the day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 23, 2020
The oval-shaped container doesn't roll around. It's lightweight and easy to carry. The cream doesn't feel overly sticky and quickly hydrates the skin. The scent is an issue. The bergamot fragrance is so strong that when you breathe through your nose after applying, it feels like it's clearing your throat on a fast track. After the third use, the twist mechanism broke - it dispenses product but won't retract. Applying a thick layer before bed doesn't really help soften dead skin cells. - gu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 28, 2020
Compared to other lip balms, this one is less sticky (almost not sticky at all). With consistent use, I've noticed a significant improvement in lip dead skin cells. While its hydration power isn't bad, you'll need to apply it frequently to see effects on dead skin cells. The scent might be a matter of personal preference, but it's not my style. Moreover, the fragrance becomes more intense when applied to the lips. I wouldn't recommend this to those sensitive to scents. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2020
The hydration is decent and it's generally satisfactory. The ingredients aren't bad either. I received it as a gift and have been using it - I quite like it. The downside is that it tends to melt easily if you put it in your pocket... On the flip side, it softens nicely when applied, probably because it melts so easily. So I'm just continuing to use it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 8, 2020
I bought this because it's a vegan lip balm! First off, when my immune system is low, I sometimes get allergic reactions around my lips, and if I use a lip balm that doesn't suit me, it stings and I have to stop using it. With this product, I didn't experience any stinging or irritation at all when I applied it! While I didn't feel like it had exceptional hydration, it did feel slightly oily on my lips. Overall, I'd say it was a decent product for me. The scent gave it a bit of a heavy feeling, and while this is a common issue with stick products, it's disappointing that you can't use it up completely like you can with tube-type products. - sk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 18, 2019
As soon as I applied it, my lips felt incredibly smooth, like silicone. I loved how soft they became. I bought this believing it was a vegan product, but who knew it would contain allergens? I only used it twice, and now my lips are cracked and stinging. My lips are peeling, wrinkled, and in terrible shape. Those with sensitive skin, please be careful! I've been suffering for a week now. The Earl Grey scent was so appealing, and I had high hopes, but why did it have to turn out this way? - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2019
The scent is so natural and lovely! I love the moisturizing feeling the moment I apply it. There's not really anything to complain about... though I feel like the lasting power wasn't very long. - ir********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 10, 2019
I love how moisturizing and velvety it feels, and I'm thrilled that it doesn't contain any animal-derived oils. Plus, the Earl Grey scent is divine! I ended up buying the whole series. I really appreciate the vegan concept behind it. Oh, and I received an extra one gratis! I didn't realize it at first, but when I checked the ingredient analysis on the Hwahae app, I found out it contains artificial fragrances. I thought it was all-natural oils. I'm deducting one star for that. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2018
I used up one tube and ordered a set of 4 from Coupang again. ◇ It's not sticky at all, but unlike Himalaya lip balm that sits on top, this one makes your lips feel plump from within, providing deep hydration. It feels like it's penetrating between the lips. ◇ When dead skin cells come off, they don't clump together stickily, but gently slide away. I think it's because the formula itself is quite light. ◇ The scents are varied and last incredibly long. The Earl Grey scent is stronger than I expected. ◇ It's a vegan product. They say it's a brand that doesn't conduct animal testing. It might be a good choice for those interested in a vegan lifestyle. ◇ The formula is on the softer side. It melts easily, so when I accidentally put it in the same pocket as a hand warmer, it melted and solidified on the cap. ◇ The strong scent is both an advantage and a disadvantage. ◇ The taste is a bit chalky. I'm not sure if this is just an issue with the Earl Grey flavor. The plastic label wrapped around the outside might come off, but don't ever peel it! As you can see in the photo, all the print comes off.
