Since it's free from harmful ingredients, I'll definitely keep purchasing it.
ConsIt stings, unfortunately. Areas where my skin is more sensitive feel even more irritated.
TipAfter applying toner, just open one capsule and spread it on your face. Gently press it into your skin with the warmth of your hands to help it absorb. Then follow up with a hydrating moisturizer.

I've been using it for two years now as it absorbs well and is said to help with brightening.
ConsWhile vitamin C is known to cause a tingling sensation, my sensitive skin turns red when I apply it. It calms down after a little while.
TipMixing it with vitamin E makes it a bit less intense on the skin.

ConsFor the first three days of using it on my face, there were no issues. However, on the fourth day, I applied it thoroughly to my neck area. The next morning, only my neck was red, swollen, and the skin surface felt rough, as if I had a burn. Those with super sensitive skin might want to avoid this product.

Individual capsule packaging - An optimal packaging method for vitamin ingredients that easily oxidize when exposed to light and air. 2. Ingredients - Contains a high concentration of vitamin C without any fragrances or irritating components. I was initially concerned about the silicone base, but I learned that the silicone used in cosmetics has larger molecules than pores and is volatile, so there's no worry about clogging pores. It even allows the active ingredients in subsequent skincare products to penetrate. In fact, it helps the active ingredients absorb into the skin more stably by blocking contact with air. That's why I'm okay with silicone ingredients as long as they're not combined with PEG.
Cons1. The amount in each capsule seems a bit much for one use. I split it in half. 2. After applying it to my face, there's a white residue that clumps on my fingertips. At first, I thought it was my dead skin cells and got startled, but it's probably the silicone ingredient. 3. Perhaps because I've been using it intermittently, I haven't noticed any significant effects yet. Still, since it's highly recommended by dermatologists and beauty experts, I'm going to trust the process and use it consistently. 4. It stings quite a bit while absorbing. It feels like tiny needles pricking my skin. I always take a deep breath before applying it. It's just the nature of the ingredients, so it can't be helped. I endure it by imagining my skin plumping up with collagen.
TipI'm using madecassoside along with vitamin C as I've heard it helps with wound healing and collagen production. I'm using Sidmool's Centella Essential. Since Monoderm has a silicone base, I used to apply it before cream, but it pilled more severely when applied over Centella Essential. Changing the order of application improved its absorption. I apply in this order: toner > ampoule > Monoderm > Centella Essential > cream.

ConsI bought this because of the positive reviews on home shopping, but it completely irritated my skin. It was extremely painful to apply.

It's great that it comes in capsules, allowing for consistent application amounts.
ConsIt's quite irritating. While it doesn't sting all over, I noticed redness in areas where it did tingle. I'm not sure if my blemishes are increasing due to the hot weather or the silicone ingredients, but I've been experiencing more breakouts.
TipMixing it with a hydrating moisturizer seemed to reduce the tingling sensation. I hope this doesn't diminish its effectiveness though?

When applied, it smooths out skin texture and gives a refined feeling.
ConsIt stings when applied to the skin. They say it's because of the vitamin ingredients, but it feels irritating. I suspect there might be some harmful ingredients, so I probably won't repurchase.

However, I haven't noticed any brightening effects on my complexion yet.
ConsI've heard that some tingling is normal, but for me, the tingling sensation is quite intense. They say it gradually subsides with continued use, but so far... I've also developed some blemishes. I suspect there might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin.

I've had many people comment that my skin looks brighter too!
ConsThere's a slight tingling sensation when applying. I bought a set from a home shopping channel with two Vitamin C serums and one Vitamin E, but I only used one bottle and had to throw the other away. Even though I stored it away from direct sunlight and it wasn't past the expiration date, the color changed after being kept for a while.
TipDue to the oxidation issue, it's best to purchase one at a time. If you've bought it from a home shopping channel, don't stockpile them. It's better to use them quickly before the color changes.

I've been trying various items, but Monoderm is one I've been repurchasing and using for about a year now. While there weren't any dramatically visible effects in the short term, I've noticed that with consistent use, my skin definitely feels healthier. My complexion seems much brighter, and I often hear compliments about my improved skin condition.
ConsWhen I first applied Monoderm C, I was surprised by how much it tingled - more than I expected. I was worried there might be an issue, but apparently, that's a characteristic of vitamin C products. At first, it stung a bit, but as I continued using it, I got used to it. Now, I almost miss that tingling sensation!
TipFor Monoderm C, I've developed a habit of applying it directly to clean skin or just after toner before bed. This allows it to fully absorb into the skin overnight. You might notice a difference when you wake up in the morning.
