Gentle on skin As someone with extremely sensitive skin that tends to get red and irritated with the wrong products, I love that this BB cream causes no adverse reactions. Easy to control amount It's great that I can squeeze out just a tiny bit more if needed after initial application. Clean storage The pump dispenser with a cap keeps it clean and prevents spills no matter where it's stored. Decent coverage It covers minor redness initially, and while more severe redness may still show through slightly, once facial oils emerge after a while, the redness seems to disappear, leaving skin looking clear. Attractive wear-off Though it fades a bit over time, it blends beautifully with the skin's natural oils. Great for pores I have large pores on my nose, but after applying this BB cream and letting it settle, my previously noticeable pores become much less visible. While this product doesn't brighten the skin, it creates such a natural, seamless makeup look that I'm now on my third purchase. Slightly dark shade As someone with a complexion around shade 22, I found this a tad dark for me. It doesn't exactly darken my skin tone, but it doesn't brighten it either. Struggles with acne coverage It can't completely conceal large pimples. For a brighter makeup look Applying this BB cream over a sunscreen with a white cast results in a much brighter finish than using the BB cream alone. It doesn't separate and the coverage is truly outstanding. I'm on my third tube and haven't used anything else. The manufacturing date is disappointing. There are no recent production dates available. I wouldn't recommend buying this as a gift...

While Atomy had a reddish undertone, this Hanskin one has a slightly brighter, more beige tone which I really like. What I love most is how it covers most of my pores on my nose and makes my skin look as smooth as a peeled egg! It's not completely matte, but has a slight glow. It's definitely not powdery, and I think it would work well for both oily and dry skin types, unless you have extremely oily skin. I only use BB creams because foundations tend to emphasize my large pores, make flaky skin more noticeable, or break down easily. But this one hardly breaks down at all! It applies nicely even around the sides of my nose. It seems to melt into my pores naturally, covering them well, and the staying power is impressive - it looks the same even in the evening (I rarely see it break down). Rather than breaking down, it just seems to fade away. Of course, you might need to touch up oily areas, but often you don't even need to (great staying power). It even smooths over dry, flaky skin well, so I used it comfortably in winter too. While the shade isn't particularly light, when applied it doesn't look too dark either - it gives a very natural look. There's minimal darkening throughout the day, and the ingredients are gentle enough that I've never experienced any blemishes. If the color was just a tad lighter, I'd use this for life! The color! I wish it was just a bit lighter. While it's not extremely dark for a BB cream, it seems to be around shade 21.5-22, so those with very fair skin might not be able to use it. Also, because it gives such a natural skin tone, there's almost no brightening effect. It just makes your skin look better, but not brighter. And the packaging isn't very pretty! I've looked at other Hanskin BB creams, and this one seems to have the best ingredients. I tried a sample before buying the full size. I mix in a tiny bit of a very light foundation, which makes it just the right brightness for me. On its own, it might look a bit dull. This is my holy grail BB cream! I haven't found anything better yet. It's so hydrating that it feels like my makeup just melts into my skin, and the coverage is pretty impressive! It doesn't seem to trigger any blemishes either. It's a bit on the rich side, so in summer, my forehead turns into an oil slick - no joke! I have dry skin, but apart from my monthly visitor, I don't usually have major blemishes. I was struggling with makeup not staying put, but since using this, I've been consistently repurchasing the affordable option. While high-end foundations are great, they're expensive, right? (Can you relate?) So I've been alternating between this and Make Up For Ever products. I'd give it 4 points for natural coverage and another 4 for not causing deep dryness. Just keep in mind that I have a darker complexion. Since this is a BB cream, it's only available in one shade, which might not be suitable for those with oily skin or fairer complexions. If you have oily skin, you'll notice the coverage fading quickly. I alternate between this and the Volume Fill BB cream. They're quite similar in ingredients, texture, and how they absorb. For my daily routine, I apply an oil-free sunscreen, then this BB cream, and finish with eyeshadow. You only need to use a little compared to foundation. It doesn't cake up, and among all the products I've used so far, this has the best coverage without any shortcomings. The BB cream leans towards a lighter shade. Compared to foundations I've used before, be careful not to squeeze out too much or you'll waste it. I've been using this for a year now. At first, I used it alone, but it was a bit matte, so I started mixing it with Make Up For Ever foundation, and it works great! The coverage is good too. It's a bit matte and the shade is slightly dark, so I mix it with a lighter foundation when I use it.
