It's a thin, runny oil that cleanses effectively. I often receive this product as a gratis sample, so I have many at home. However, the scent is a bit... The oil fragrance is too strong, making it difficult to use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2020
After pumping the oil about three times, I gently massaged it into my skin. The initially runny oil became more viscous, and after rinsing, my skin felt noticeably improved! As this was my first time using a cleansing oil, I'm not sure if it's just me, but when I applied it directly to my makeup, I didn't quite get that feeling of it being thoroughly removed. - sa******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 23, 2020
Among all the oil cleansers I've tried, including Shu Uemura's, this is the most refreshing and effective at removing makeup without irritating my eyes! However, I only use oil cleansers for eye makeup removal and cleansing milk for the rest of my face, so that's all I can confidently say about it. For those who only use oil cleansers to remove eye makeup like me, I highly recommend this product! Apart from the price, I'm not sure what else to say. Some people mentioned they got blemishes from it... so make sure to read the reviews carefully before purchasing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2020
It's great at removing heavy makeup, even mascara! Leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean with no residue, even when used on its own. I don't have any complaints. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2019
It removes makeup better than I expected and helps with hydration. You need to do a second cleanse, and it feels like the oil is running down your face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 3, 2019
It definitely seemed to have a shrinking effect on the nose pores. The cleansing effectiveness was also good. I'm not sure if it was because of this, but I started getting small blemishes on my cheeks, so I switched to a cleansing water. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2019
Unlike other cleansing oils that sting my eyes, this one removes makeup effectively without any irritation. It's great that it rinses off easily with water too! The oil tends to leak a bit around the dispenser, and when it comes into contact with water, it turns white, making it look somewhat messy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2019
It really removes makeup well, and when I roll it, I can definitely feel dead skin cells or sebum coming off, which is super satisfying! Don't forget to follow up with a second cleanse! I have blemish-prone, sensitive, combination dehydrated skin. While some people say this made their skin worse, I guess it's different for everyone. I don't see any downsides! I'm using a sample and loving it so much that I'm considering buying the full-size product. - hc******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2019
Lighter and more fragrant than Shu Uemura's cleansing oil. It seems to cleanse well, but you need to use quite a bit and rinse it off before it absorbs to avoid blemishes. However, that's true for most makeup cleansers, so it's not really a drawback. There aren't many cleansing oils that don't cause blemishes even when used this way, sadly. It doesn't cause deep dryness, nor does it feel heavy or suffocating. It's pretty decent. It removes even the most stubborn modern makeup in one go, so personally, I don't need to use a cleansing foam that strips away all my skin's hydration. It's a shortcut to skin recovery. Natural oils are too harsh and cause blemishes. They don't remove makeup well, don't emulsify properly, and feel heavy and suffocating. This oil deserves praise for breaking that cycle. It's expensive. In terms of ingredients, there doesn't seem to be a cleansing oil with truly superior ingredients that can beat this level of cleansing effectiveness and lightness. Regardless of what people say about ingredients, the fact that it's not sticky, difficult to emulsify, or harsh actually makes this product's formulation better. The container leaks easily. It keeps spilling, so I can only use it at home. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2019
When cleansing, it rinses off smoothly without the typical slippery feeling of oils. It leaves your skin so clean that you could almost get away with just using water. The result is a noticeably improved skin texture. Being an oil, I'm a bit hesitant to use it daily for fear of blemishes (just my personal opinion). The price is on the higher side. It might be too expensive to purchase in-store, so buying online seems like the better option. The staff explained that if you apply it and massage it in for a few minutes, it helps dissolve dead skin cells.
