  Pros

  My skin is quite oily with excessive sebum production, so my face never feels smooth to the touch. For this skin type, it's usually recommended to exfoliate only 1-2 times a week. However, this product seems gentle enough for daily use without damaging the skin. At first, I was hesitant to stock up after seeing smooth results for a couple of days, fearing I might regret it. But as I continued using the remaining product, my skin became smoother and more supple. I've been using it alongside the Atomy mask, and it's working well. The price is affordable too. I think this will be my go-to exfoliating gel from now on.

  Cons

  It stings a bit if you get too close to the eye area. Also, it doesn't seem to remove dead skin cells very effectively.

  Tip

  Apply it and browse Facebook for about 3 minutes before rubbing it in. Then repeat the process. You'll notice more dead skin coming off during the second application.

  Pros

  The price seems quite reasonable for the amount you get. It takes forever to finish one tube, even though I use it at least once a week. I'm itching to buy a new one, but the old one just won't run out! After using this, you can immediately feel your skin becoming soft and firm while cleansing. When applying skincare products afterwards, they absorb instantly instead of sitting on top of the skin. That's why this peeling gel is my holy grail among Atomy products. (To be honest, as someone who's been using Atomy for about 2 years because I like the brand, I've noticed that quite a few products become less effective over time.) Also, with regular use, you'll notice those tiny bumps on your skin gradually disappearing - you can feel the difference when washing your face!

  Cons

  There's only one downside... You need to wait a bit after applying the gel for the peeling to work. At first, I didn't wait and started rubbing right away, but nothing happened - it felt like I was just applying oil! So you need to factor in that waiting time. (Actually, it makes sense that you need to give the dead skin cells time to loosen up, just like when you're soaking before exfoliating. I guess I was too used to other peeling products that start working immediately upon application.)

  Tip

  Unlike other peeling products, if you rub it immediately after applying, it won't peel at all! Apply it and wait a little (I wait about 5 minutes, or up to 10 minutes if I've applied a lot), then start rubbing for proper peeling. Also, when you feel like no more dead skin cells are coming off, squeeze out a pea-sized amount of gel and rub again - you'll see a whole new batch of dead skin cells appear! (That's why I usually do this process twice in one session.)
